By "rooms" I'm referring to rest rooms and showers. They were spotless. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant at this centrally located campground. We were there in September with some fairly warm weather. Whenever we returned to the site, it felt about ten degrees cooler. We've gotten most Cape Cod touristy things done but, we might just go back. Thank You Shady Knoll staff!

Lazy Gepid

Not exactly big rig friendly, but a normal sized class B or C can find a nice, cozy, and private space. You can also walk on sidewalks to several restaurants, and it's close to the rail trail which makes for good biking.

Friendly staff. Great location for hiking/biking. Good size lots. Quiet throughout day. Laundry Good price. Lots of hot water for showers. Would stay again.

Sunnyside Coops

Lovely well kept basic campground. Most of the sites are skillfully cut into the woods, leaving plenty of shade and a natural barrier between sites. Full hookups if needed. Quaint and convenient to all the beauty Cape Cod offers. Front office and grounds crew are professional and really seem to love what they do!

Great campsite. We stayed two nights even though we only planned one night and if we could we would have stayed longer... Walking trails nearby, beach one mile away for an easy walk. A nearby grocery store, convenient and good laundry facilities and very friendly staff allowed us to choose the campsite One of the best campsites we have been to.

We stayed here for Columbus Holiday Weekend and the price was very reasonable for the Cape. The location is excellent and near attractions. There's a small market across the street for groceries. The sites are small so you have to speak to someone to get an idea of the site location and size. There are only two out buildings but they are very clean and the showers are free and hot! No on site activities, but lots to do! It's the Cape! Very dog friendly too. Great walking trails nearby too. Would definitely return !!

What a wonderful campground! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We tent camped for a long weekend and it was simply perfect. The tent site was a good size; plenty of room for our three room tent and pop up shelter. The foliage surrounding the site provided a beautiful "wall" so you didn't feel you were intruding on the site adjacent to you. The rest room/showers were close by and SPOTLESS! The showers were a nice warm temperature. Centrally located; close to a hiking trail to Eddy Bay and also numerous restaurants and coffee shops. It is pet friendly which was nice! Definitely would return and recommend to others.

Shady Knoll is a real gem. One of the very best campsites we have stayed in - there have been many in Europe and the USA. Very well set out - spotlessly clean and warm showers and bathrooms - music too!! The staff were the very best too - I am often nervous arriving at each new site but they made us feel so welcome - taking the booking over the phone when on the highway as we were late - not easy for Dawn - but not a problem. The lovely staff looking after the site were also so helpful and approachable too. We would and will recommend Shady Knoll to many. Great having well stocked grocery store just outside site and the rail trail short distance away. Hired bikes from Brewster Cycles. Thank you all at Shady Knoll - we had a great time.

"Rooms" doesn't quite fit for a campground, but I'm thinking this correlates more to sites. Our site #25 was great in length, a little tight in width. The sites here are definitely cozy, but adequately supplied with picnic tables, fire pits, and vegetative buffers. The staff here was friendly, as were the neighbors. Close to the Rail Trail and a number of good restaurants. Just minutes from the town beach which allows dogs after September 15th. All in all a great stay - of course perfect weather helped too! I’d give more stars if I could! Our first time to Cape Cod was last year and we stayed 8 nights at Shady Knoll. We loved it so much that we booked for this year and we’re finishing up our 15 night stay. This campground is quiet, well maintained, and everyone that works here has been incredibly friendly. The showers and bathrooms are kept clean - plus great water pressure and we’ve never run out of hot water. We appreciate the (enforced) quiet hours from 10pm-8am - we’ve never had a poor night’s sleep. There’s a market within walking distance and that’s a huge plus for that item you inevitably forget. They have a little of everything there and they are really friendly, too! You’re close to several beaches, bike trail, great restaurants.. the location is hard to beat. We’re still here and we are already planning our 2024 trip back!
