Robert rocks! This guy is attentive and friendly. We would not hesitate to go there again. Clean park too

Stayed one night on the way to Yosemite NP. Small tuck away place across the street from an old drive in, next to Mad Maxx car "Museum". They welcome over nighters, while several homesteaders live there. Bathroom and laundry facilities on site. There is a phonebooth next to the bathrooms if you need to go back to the future.

it had what we needed power water and flat ground. The showers worked well but needed a lot of work to be safe

This is a good idea overnight stop. Pyll thrust, full hookups, price was reasonable. Owners are very nice.

Since the owner left, the place has really gone down hill . The vibe is gone . No one cares about keeping the facilities and laundry room clean . My Brother is an above the knee amputee and prone to infections. He depends on the showers being clean and not resting his one foot in filthy standing water. Bring your own cleaning supplies . We miss you Don .

Not somewhere I’d ever stay again. Sites are fairly large but small campground and very tight with these little trees placed in strategic spots. Handy location to Sequoias. We accidentally ran over a rusty bent fire ring (as most of them are)..we made the mistake of telling them and they charged us over $50 and I’m sure it won’t be replaced judging by the rest of them.

Quaint older park with a pleasant host. Easy to reach and an easy trip to Calico Ghost town. The staff are nice and very helpful with suggestions for dining, shopping, and local points of interest.

We only stayed here night, but had a good experience! Yes it’s an old campground and facilities are old. I took a shower and wore sandals and it was fine. The camp manager helped us to our spot and got us parked safely. Would stay here again!

Older property, but clean, level gravel sites. Wonderful owner, Don, showed me to my spot and gave me time to get set up before checking in at the office. Easy to get to from 15 and convenient to town. Clean bathroom and showers. Got a handy map of the area from Don. Permanent residents are very friendly. As others have said, don’t judge a book by its cover. I will definitely stay here again.
