Nice level camping spots, limited nighttime lighting so you can enjoy the stars, very clean, great water pressure and hot water in the showers. Clean laundry room in a great state of repair. Price is great! Definitely will be returning next year!

We had used one of the pavilions for a my little sisters 2nd birthday not knowing we had to pay to use them. There was no sign saying we had to reserve them. This lady shows up ready to raise hell, she says there's a sign we show her that there was no sign and she gets dumbfounded. Our grandmother ask if we could pull our chairs in the grass at this public park... she says we can't gather at the park period. Theres this family taking pictures right in-front of us so I asked "so what are they doing" she says "taking professional pictures" then I go "that's still a gathering?" She gets quite we obviously payed for the pavilion but she was not professional at all and gave us a hard time for no reason. Other than that we had an amazing time with our family.

This is my favorite disc golf course in the Huntsville area. Honestly could be the most picturesque course I’ve played. Wide variety of shots, with the historic vibe throughout. While many courses are obviously built within the confines of parks, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn this park was built around the course (although I’m sure this isn’t the case) because of how well it is designed. Good amenities and plentiful parking.

Great little park however, 2 caveats; Poison ivy/ oak and no where to get drinking water. Beware if you visit in the summer.

This was really a little spot of heaven. Especially for walks with a lovely scenery. And for pictures.... yall I'm not even playing... i got some of the absolute BEST PROM pictures ever here. Professional, personal, or even semi-pro photography.. there's somewhere here for everyone. Wooded area, hills and trees and a rustic metal bridge. A beautiful stream and even a few small waterfalls. Old cabins (not sure if openly available like that tho, but they r neat. Rock wall and just a beautiful peaceful place. And they have a public pool too that is very clean with life guard for the summer heat as well. Playground. Lake. U name it... it's got it pretty much. Even skeet shooting area! Animal friendly. Easy accessibility for disabled loved ones. And big nice clean restrooms.

Scottish Festival!! Good turnout of people, could've easily accommodated more. The games had the most competitors I've ever seen at one of these in Alabama. Was great to watch!! Should've been more food trucks. Only one😔

Loved this campground! Beautiful place. The camp hosts are very nice! They have a playground at the campground and another bigger one across and into another part of the park. They also have an 18-hole Disc golf course. They do have a swimming pool but is only available for the months of June and July, it has a daily fee for use. We walked the perimeter of the park. It's about 3 miles. There is also a walking track across the road that is paved. Lots of pavilions are available to use. There is also a pond if you like to fish. Permits on site. I also believe you need a fishing liscese. The picture of the disc golf course gives you an idea as to how big this place is! They give you a key, with a deposit when you check in. They close the gates around sunset. Our site, #7, wasn't level. Had to use boards under front tires. If you have a smaller camper, it may not be an issue. We have a 40-foot class A. FHU $35 WE $25. Will stay here again if we are in the area. They do not take credit cards!

Stayed here for a week. The park is relatively quiet and peaceful. The park is also clean and well kept. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again. The older gentleman that checked us in was very nice as well. We recommend staying if considering.
