Beautiful little lake. And it is clean. Site 37 has bad 30A wiring (ground-to-hot), but we were able to use an adapter on 50A outlet.

It was a very nice park on 2 lakes. No playgrounds that I saw. The attendant said it was usually full of construction workers and hunters. We were lucky there was a space he said. A lot of the construction workers had left that morning.

Nice Campground. Concrete Sites. Lakes Are Relaxing. No Bath House. Wish We'd Known That The Bath House Was Torn Down But We Made Do. Both Campground Hosts Were Super Friendly. If We're Ever Back In The Area We'll Stay Here Again.

The campground was clean and the one staff personnel I met was nice. However, there are zero amenities and the office building was locked and empty every day we were there. We rely on bathhouses so we booked this campground but when we got there, there wasn't one despite it being on the map they gave us when we checked in. Also, I've been camping for almost 2 years now and I've never had both my camper and tow vehicle be completely infested with ants after the first night. It was honestly horrendous.

We stayed here for 1 night. It was very pleasant and the staff was great. I generally really enjoy these city owned campgrounds; this one was great. It's easy to get in and out and close to the highway. It's part of a larger park so there is a very nice lake to check out and a big playground. This has a very throwback feel, which I super enjoyed. From the phone call for a reservation to the paper receipt for our camping spot. No reservation # no email receipt... and yet no issues with anything when we arrived. They escorted us to our site and even offered a different site that was a little more private with a small deck. Sites are large and spread out; ours was full hook-ups. It was super quiet. There seems to be a mix of longer term and short term here. I don't think they have a bath/shower house. I would definitely stop here again. Even with it being an older park, there were signs of it being well cared for. If you like more old school type parks that feel like a dispersed park then you will enjoy this. Since we were just here for the night I don't know what the area is like for activities. It felt very safe. Thanks for offering such a nice.camping experience.

Nice place, easy stay, would caution very hilly sites

It was not a pleasant stay. NO amenities. The office is hard to contact, no email confirmation and had to pay cash. Had to ask for a picnic table. No place to go during Tornadoes, they locked everything to avoid any liability. Do NOT recommend, unless you're just staying 1 night.

I visited late Sept on a week day. Camp ground was near empty and we got the closest tent site to the lakeshore. About a hundred yards downhill. Very quiet, clean. No luck with fishing but it’s probably because of a bad set up. Nevertheless, I had a great time relaxing. I think I paid like $15 or so. Easy-to-collect fire wood was everywhere. Ten minutes away from Walmart for any supplies. Attendant was a nice gentleman who was readily accessible with a phone call. I will visit again soon.

Very nice RV campground. Easy to access in and out. There are plenty of trees and picnic tables. Easy site has a picnic table. The sites are level concrete and asphalt. We had trouble with our tow vehicle and Jesse was more than willing to help us with a site for the night. Relaxing area close to the lake. Highly recommended this campground.

Great small campground, well kept and quiet on our site (18); friendly and very helpful staff. It has a wonderful variety of shade trees with many of the sites having built in porches. The fishing areas are nice but would have loved longer hours open (understandable however with limited staff). The property joins the RTJ golf course and, of course, that is never a bad neighbor! We will return!
