Great RV park. Easy pull through sites. Close to town and beach . Stayed in both east and west parks. We like the east best.

It is quiet and clean. Personnel are helpful and kind. Only 4 stars because it's basically a parking lot for RVs. No shade, no play ground for kids.

I was there in Mar-Apr 2020 everything was great until CORONA hit the surrounding area. That base was very safe but the town was just about shut down. My only problem with shields is the wi-fi not strong enough to stream. I have a dish satellite o this really was not a problem. Shields has good power water and no problem with sewer. Showers are cleaned daily and well maintained. While I was there neighbors were quiet and friendly very respectful of other campers areas. I am looking forward to our stay this year in Apr-May. I hope this helped.

Paved spots, clean restrooms. Must be close to hospital heard and seen ambulances going by constantly. The reason I gave the a rating of 3 is because of the staff. Real friendly when you check in but don’t want to or can’t answer questions about area and why they advertise cable but only the outlet said the did have boxes and no one return them so it’s my problem I can’t get cable. Not really sure I’d go back.
