The service at the deli was terrible. We stood in line for an hour with only 4 people ahead of us just to order our pizza. We waited another 30 mins to find out our pizza was given to someone that ordered behind us. We ended up waiting 2 hours for a 12 min bake pizza. Everyone in the deli was to busy looking busy than actually doing anything. Had us over a barrel if we wanted to eat since there was no other food options besides the vending machine. Will not plan on eating here again if we ever go back. Totally unexcusable since we talked to the staff multiple times about our pizza and still took to long and ended up getting a second remake cuz they handed it off to others that ordered after us.

The rooms were dirty, worn and outdated. During my visit, I played at a blackjack table where the dealer, an older woman (approximately 50+), was extremely rude and disrespectful. Her name tag was turned backward, so I can't identify her. The pit bosses need to better oversee the quality of customer service. Sketchy looking characters walking all over so more security would help customers feel safe. Due to this experience, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and recommend others consider doing the same.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Shooting Star Casino Hotel. The facility is very old and poorly maintained. The mattresses had prominent stains, and there were dirty handprints all over the walls and mirrors. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, and there was even a hole in the bathroom mirror. To make things worse, the cleaning staff were loudly joking, laughing, and play-slapping each other in the halls instead of doing their jobs. While the front desk staff were pleasant and helpful, it doesn’t make up for the fact that this property is clearly not being kept up. I was even advised to avoid the “Fly” Café, which says a lot. Overall, I would not recommend staying here.

We stayed here and caught the Jackyl concert. Everyone of the staff of the hotel was amazing so helpful and the food in the restaurant was top-notch. The drinks were perfect. Everything was affordable. The concert was amazing. The concert that went on after the concert in the lounge in the Mustang lounge was great. It was just all at all a great experience. I highly recommend it.

We have stayed here a few times before. Rooms are clean and quiet . Do need more towels per room. Shower head is way to low, door opens right up to toilet and shower so not much room. Would like to see more then 2 packets of coffee in the room as there were 2 of us.1st time trying Breakfast buffet. Was not impressed. Food was lukewarm at best.Sausage links were undercooked someone could get sick from them. That night we ate in the restraint. Never had issues before but again not impressed with food everything was lukewarm. Was not busy so not sure what was the issue. The deli for being a concert night the staff was friendly, fast, and got people there orders in a timely manner.

We did not stay in the hotel, but stopped and played the slots for a while and were considering dining there until we looked and.options and prices and decided to move on. There was no service provided. Nobody was even around to ask if we wanted a drink. The slots hardly ever pay out these days, but there is a marginal entertainment value. We used to go to Shooting Star to eat and stayed to gamble but know it is hardly worth the drive.

was at smoke and felt rushed, our food came out and not even 10 minutes later, they’re asking if we need boxes. lost my appetite and threw it in the box. not to mention all the staff that walked by us while we waited to be seated, then someone finally comes acting like they didn’t see us. poor service!

I didn't stay here very long. My friend and I had gone there to meet another friend and while waiting we had stopped at one of the little bars. The bartender did not acknowledge that we were there. He managed to break down boxes and help other people who weren't even at the bar when we got there. We weren't sitting in some strange place as we were sitting right where the focal point would have been for most bartenders. When he did finally come over he seemed to have a little bit of attitude and so we only ordered Cokes. We may have stayed a little bit longer if he had been at least friendly and acknowledged us. I don't see myself heading out there again anytime soon.

The casino itself was very nice. It had a lot of new slots, considering it is a smaller casino. The stage and entertainment were great. The hotel is a different story. It was way too expensive ($123 for one night). There was dust and dirt on the wall around the bathroom exhaust fan, obviously never wiped down. A hole in the bathroom vanity where I think there used to be a tissue dispenser. Floor and area around toilet not very clean. I have stayed at Hotel 6's that were much cleaner and cost much less. No direct access to hotel parking from casino parking. We were directed to get back on the highway to simply get to the other side of the building. Update: Casino owner responded to review (and other reviewers) asking how to contact me. I can't respond to their request to give private contact info. Casino hotel owner will need to look up my name in their hotel bookings for 04/18/2025.

We didn't stay overnight but had an absolute blast! Right when we walked in, my friend won, and a few minutes later, i did too! They have great games with quite a selection of slots, which were what we mostly played. I miss the cheaper options on slots for when you come with a budget, and enjoyment is more your goal than jacpots, though of course jackpots are what everyone wants. Having not brought endless money, with the cost per roll of most games made for a short night. I will say the slots are looser than Dakota Magic, so you win even a little more often and can play longer. On the way out, we grabbed some cheese curds from the as usual, butts the food is amazing.when i have stayed there for meetings, everything was clean and comfortable. Its a nice little getaway
