Brought a group of 15 from Mid and North West in 7 RV's and 3 Cabins. Initial cleanliness of one of the cabins was quickly attended to when pointed out to staff. Being from the area originally I never had any idea just how nice and expansive the property is, withe a shoreline that could be a state park. Everyone was super friendly throughout the whole process of planning this. I do not understand the bad reviews. Our group seems to be very very happy!!!

My family and I stayed at this campground over the weekend, and had an amazing time. The facilities are well kept and clean, and they offer a can and bottle and trash can at each site that they come around and collect every day, which is a great feature. The location on the water is beautiful, and the path down to the "fishing rocks" is lovely. The campground is very private, and each site has privacy. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys camping in a beautiful spot with Boothbay Harbor just a short 10 min drive away!

We had the pleasure of staying at this campground recently, and we cannot understand the negative reviews. The campground was spotless, the staff was super friendly and non-invasive, and the bathhouses were simple but clean with more than enough hot water for showers. For $.50 you got a fantastic 15 minute very hot shower. The trails were beautiful and led out to the tide marsh, which is where we had our coffee both mornings. It was so peaceful and quiet. Very enjoyable. I would imagine why people are having issues with this campground is that it feels like more of a 55+. It is not a noisy young family, kid friendly, party atmosphere. And there is no swimming. It was definitely geared more towards older people that like peace and quiet and old school atmosphere. With that being said, I would definitely camp there again and recommend it to my friends.

Very nice camping. Spots are spread out nicely with a lot of amenities. Laundry, hot showers (.25$ for 5 minutes) Each spot has a fire ring and picnic table. Some have decks. Many are waterfront camping as well. Not a lot of bugs, but definitely some. We enjoyed the space so much we decided to stay an additional night.

Shore Hills can righteously boast about quiet and exquisite scenery of its campgrounds. There quite the array of animal life visible at different points of the days/nights. Even saw seals that had come into the area during high tide to feed on the fish. The friendliest folks abound from the registration office to all the camp-workers. Everyone was incredibly gracious and helpful!!!!!

Good spot close to Booth Bay. I think about 3-1/2 miles. Full hook ups, laundry facilities at two spots. Very reasonable price. Some of the machines were broken, so I went into town to a laundry mat in order to do my laundry all at the same time. It was faster, but way more expensive. Our spot was a back in, used levelers to level up. Not bad. Nice green area behind our camper. Chipmunks in our site.

The place is good. I have no complaints. Just wanted to add more info about two cabins they have. They are located separately from other campsites. It's just two of them on a spot. Very quiet . It has almost everything what you expected. Like a little fridge, microwave, a lot of kitchen utensils and supplies. A little electric stove, AC, bathroom with toilet and shower, TV. It's perfect place to stay and have some romantic time around the fireplace

Shore Hills Campground offers a delightful retreat with thoughtful amenities and a scenic location. The owners are exceptionally friendly, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere. Their provision of a dedicated dish washing station for tent campers is a thoughtful touch, ensuring convenience and cleanliness. The strategically placed bathrooms strike a perfect balance, being neither too close to disturb campsite tranquility nor too far to inconvenience guests. The inclusion of books in the laundry room adds a charming element, making chores enjoyable. The playground evokes a sense of nostalgia, providing a quaint charm for families. Situated amidst breathtaking scenery, the campground's location enhances the overall experience, offering serene views. The shuttle service to Boothbay is a standout feature, providing easy access to explore the town for a nominal fee of $5 per person. Impressively, the shuttle operates punctually, ensuring reliable transportation for guests. Overall, Shore Hills Campground is a gem that combines friendly hospitality, thoughtful amenities, nostalgic charm, and breathtaking surroundings. It's a place worth revisiting, promising a memorable camping experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Shores Hills Campground! The campsite was clean and well-maintained, and both check-in and check-out were a breeze. The location was perfect, being very close to the Botanical Gardens, which I highly recommend visiting. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely return. If you're looking for a convenient and well-kept campground, Shores Hills is an excellent choice!

Spent the long holiday weekend here, first time, what a nice campground. Our site was fairly private, nice tree coverage. The only downside was the road noise. It sits right along side a very busy main route. But, other than that, we highly recommend a stay here.
