Best campground in Silver Lake Sand Dunes area! Nice , level, large campsites with great options. The rules are not overbearing and ridiculous, and because of this..everyone is respectful, easy going, and pleasant! Only con- price for renting a camper on a site is way too expensive vs. staying at a hotel with all the same amenities. This would have been my first option over pulling my own camper and renting a site, but could not justify the cost of renting the campground-owed trailer ($250+ /night)

Extremely clean campground! I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again. They have the cleanest bathrooms and showers! Beautiful buildings and grounds! Very easy check-in and check-out and the staff is awesome! The pools and splash pad were open when many other places in the area at this time of year were closed!

I’ve stayed at Silver Hills many times over the years! Love the growth, with still being able to camp in the original part where the trees are big and also the newer side with concrete pads and full hook up! Fun to ride bikes throughout, love the pools, arcade, splash pad and playground. We have definitely taken advantage of the pizza and ice cream on site. We camp here to be on the dunes but with the beautiful campground and amenities, it’s now even more an all around great stay!

This is our 3rd year coming here and we love it. The location is great and the staff is always helpful. My only complaint is it seems like the grounds have really deteriorated. The grass was so dry we actually had a little fire from the bon fire embers. Our dogs were basically laying in the dirt. The grass used to be lush and green. We did notice they aren't watering on a regular basis and longer so I assume it was too costly. 😕

This was our third time camping here and we love it! Since we get no cell reception in most of the area, it makes it easy to disconnect! The camp sites are spacious and very well kept. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. Great water pressure in the showers. All the staff we encountered the entire weekend were great. I didn't catch names, but the two that stood out are the girl at the office/store Thursday evening at check in and Sunday evening around 7ish, she was always super friendly and helpful, as well as the gentleman with the grey(white ?)beard and ball cap driving around selling wood/checking on things and what not. He was a pleasure to talk to and helped out with our card key not working to get in the gates. It's always a pleasure to stay there and we can't wait to return next year!

It was our first time camping at this campground and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I especially loved the communication and how focused they were on their guest experience. They make it easy to reach out to them via text, and they text about any activities they are hosting. I appreciated that since I don't often check websites or social media to seek out what's up and coming - but they made it easy by texting me so I was aware. They laid out muffins and coffee on mother's day to celebrate and even hosted a little activity the day prior - SO thoughtful and sweet. The campground itself was very clean. And my husband really loved the cement slabs making it clean and easy for leveling :) Our set up is about 85 feet long and this was the first time we didn't struggle with getting into a spot. I'm excited to see how it comes together once the splash pad, pool, and the bridge are completed and up and running. Overall, 5 stars. You can tell they take pride in delivering a great experience. If all our friends didn't have a seasonal at another campground, we'd choose this one every time! There weren't many options to camp so early in the season but we we so glad they were open. We will be staying here again when it's just us and not a group trip with friends.

Absolutely fantastic campground just a few minutes from the Sand Dunes ORV area. 50amp hookups are at most sites, and the bathrooms & showers are squeaky clean and cleaned frequently! (seriously the bathrooms are impressive). The staff are all super nice, and all the rules are reasonable and common sense. Great for a family, or great for a dude's weekend out on the dunes. Silver Hills has become my go-to campground near Silver Lake Dunes!

The bathrooms and entire campground is impeccable. We will be back for years to come. The kids make friends every time and have a blast exploring on the bikes. Staff and fellow campers are always super friendly. You cannot beat it here!

We absolutely love this campground! Beautiful flat concrete pads, nice sized lots, trash pick up, swimming pool, clean bathhouses, all add up to a great camping experience. The proximity to the Dunes is so convenient as well! We bring more friends each time we come back.....we'll be back next year...and with more friends!

First time staying at Silver Hills Campground and we are definitely planning on going there again next year. Loved the location for easy access to the sand dunes ORV and pedestrian areas (~2.5 miles) and easy access to the town area of Silver Lake, but far enough away that you don't hear the noise from these areas. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. A plus is that they deliver campfire wood directly to your site and they pickup trash daily in the morning from your site as well. Nice pool and splash pad too!
