Singing Hills RV Park

Overview

Singing Hills RV Park offers a peaceful retreat for those exploring the wonders of south-central Kentucky. This family-owned property prioritizes a quiet, friendly atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of larger commercial resorts. Located just a short drive from the world's longest cave system, it serves as a comfortable home base for travelers who appreciate scenic rolling hills and a genuine sense of Southern hospitality. It is a place where the pace slows down and nature takes center stage for every visitor.

Location & Surroundings

Situated in Cave City, the park provides easy access to Interstate 65 while remaining tucked away enough to maintain a tranquil environment. The surrounding landscape is characterized by lush greenery and the gentle topography of the Kentucky countryside. Travelers will find themselves within minutes of local dining and essential services, yet the park itself feels like a secluded escape. Its position makes it an ideal launching point for cave tours and regional exploration without the noise of heavy highway traffic or city congestion.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is equipped with essential features designed for convenience and comfort. Guests can enjoy several amenities during their stay:

  • The full hookup sites provide 30 and 50-amp service to accommodate everything from small campers to large motorhomes.
  • Anglers can spend time at the catch-and-release fishing pond, which serves as a center for relaxation on the property.
  • Spacious pull-thru sites are available for easier navigation, making the park big-rig friendly for long-distance travelers.

Additional facilities include clean bathhouses, a laundry room, and a small library exchange. The park also offers reliable Wi-Fi, ensuring that travelers can stay connected while enjoying their natural surroundings in the heart of the Bluegrass State.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

The primary draw for the area is Mammoth Cave National Park, located just a few miles away, offering world-class underground tours and miles of hiking trails. For those seeking more adventure, Kentucky Action Park provides alpine slides and zip lines, while families often enjoy the quirky charm of Dinosaur World. Nature lovers can also explore the nearby Green River for kayaking or visit the historic Diamond Caverns. The region is rich with unique geological formations and plenty of outdoor recreational opportunities for all ages.

Who This Park Is Best For

Singing Hills is best suited for travelers seeking a quiet and relaxing base camp rather than a high-energy resort experience. It is ideal for couples, retirees, and families who value a peaceful night's sleep after a long day of hiking or cave touring. Because of its well-maintained sites, it is a top choice for full-time RVers passing through Kentucky. If you prefer birdwatching and starlit nights over organized pool parties and loud music, this park will fit your travel style perfectly.

This is a lovely, if older, campground. Beautiful grounds. Terrific hosts - what a difference that makes! We felt very welcomed, and all our worries just floated away. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night but we would love to go back. I think we paid $54 a night.

Beautiful property, well maintained and spacious. We enjoy stopping here when we go through. It would be a great place to spend some relaxing time. The owners are wonderful people. I went ahead and did the ratings for hotel, but this is not a hotel.

Spacious sites with homey Kentucky views. Hospitable and helpful camp hostess , reservation are a quick call and well worth the cost. If you’re visiting Mammoth Cave area , , and want to spend the evening in a rustic , quiet place , look no further. 15 minutes , 7 miles from attractions. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beth and Eldon are awesome! Their campground is just about as close to Mammoth Cave National Park as you can get. It's a great campground, power, water and sewage worked perfectly. The grass was freshly mowed. It's the most reasonably priced RV park you'll stay in. a great location for night sky viewing. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a quaint, scenic, and quiet family campground minutes from Mammoth cave NPS, trails, and attractions. This is truly a mom and pop campground, and they are among the nicest people I've ever met. We were truly blessed booking here by chance, their kindness and hospitality made this one of the best camping experiences our family has had in our travels.

Mr. Eldon and Ms. Beth were wonderful camp hosts and made us feel welcome. The campground was well kept, bathrooms and showers clean, and fair priced wood and ice. It was located not far from Mammoth Cave and was an unplanned stop over, but our family enjoyed our time there very much!

We loved our stay here. So many beautiful song birds. Across the road you can watch goats at play. We found it the perfect place to stay to visit Mammoth Caves National Park. Some sites need a little leveling. Nothing too crazy. The pond you can fish ( catch and release only) but across the main road you can pay to fish. Thanks for having us

We only stayed 4 days but would have stayed longer if we could. Owners were very nice and RV park is in a beautiful location. We also filled up our LP tank and got a good price. We would stay here again.

Beth is very welcoming and accommodating! We stayed here for 2 nights in late March of 2025 in order to use it as a base for going to Mammoth Cave NP, and it was the perfect location, as well as a great campground. We have a 40' coach conversion and we pull a 24' car trailer for a total length of 68'. She assigned us site 37 which is a large pull through site in the back of the campground, and we fit in it easily without having to unhook our trailer. There are fire pits at each site, and they also sell firewood on site. We did not use the bathhouse, as we had full hook ups on our site. The hookups were well maintained and we had no issues with anything. I did have to put a few blocks under the back of our coach to level things out, but overall the site and the location were great for us. The driveway gave me no issues pulling in or out. I can see how some reviews say the driveway is a bit tight, but take your time and you will not have an issue. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit Mammoth Cave NP. Thank you Beth!

Great spot to stay while visiting Mammoth Cave or Cave City. Close enough to the Interstate for travel but far enough away from the noise. They had good size sites with nice pull-thrus and full hook ups. The folks working were lovely and accommodating. The only negative was that it was a little rough in and out for our larger RV. We dragged jacks going in and out due to the inclined gravel. The turn around was a bit small. Note we do have 41' unit though. We would definitely stay here again.
