We already booked a seasonal for the next year! Great location and friendly environment are the highlights. It trully feels like a big family reunion. We appreciate the "no golf cart" policy however some of the e-scooter kids should be restricted to a speed limit and lane adherence. Our WIFI was not consistent so we spent more time outside by the fire. Loved the Sunday morning good news talks and songs!!!

Absolutely loved this campground! We were at site 240 where you could easily fit 3 tents. It was a fantastic and beautiful location conveniently located by a fishing pond and park which kept the kids happily occupied. We were close to a bathroom and dish washing station which was regularly cleaned as well. The front shower by the swimming pond was amazing, super clean and convenient for privacy and for families. The camp store was well stocked with very friendly staff who also took great care of the property. The small restaurant on the property is helpful to have so close by. The game room is simple and we ended up not spending time in there. We didn’t get to swim in the pond due to a busy weekend but it looked like a lot of fun! They did a great job of making Labor Day weekend special for families. We made some amazing core memories here and look forward to coming back!

We enjoyed a week at skillet creek with several friends. Most sites are good sized with some opening up into larger areas. Bathrooms and showers were nearly always spotless, even with the amount of use they were getting. Skillet creek has a lot of amenities we enjoyed including the playground, fishing pond, swimming pond, game room, ice cream, and canteen with nightly specials. The weekend activities were fantastic, and we enjoyed a lot of different things. It was all capped off with a short church service being offered before we packed up and headed home. We highly recommend this camp ground.

Great family friendly campground in a fantastic location. This was our base for a group camping trip including rock climbing at Devil’s Lake and a day at Land of Natura. The bathrooms are clean with very spacious showers. The activity calendar includes fun activities like petting zoo and glow parade. The camp store is well stocked and after hours ice/firewood system is very convenient. We look forward to making this an annual trip.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Skillet Creek Campground! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, which is always a huge plus when camping. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. The grounds are gorgeous—lush, peaceful, and clearly cared for with pride. My son had a blast at the playground and spent hours splashing around in the swimming pond, which was the perfect spot to cool off on a warm day. We also loved relaxing by the fishing pond and exploring the creek that flows through camp, too. One unexpected bonus was the game room, which had a fun mix of activities and also included laundry facilities—a total lifesaver during longer stays! Very nice for families! Whether you're camping with family or looking for a quiet weekend in nature, Skillet Creek is a gem. We can't wait to come back!

Was there during the week, very quiet which is what we were looking for. Took a walk into the bluffs and enjoyed the quietness and calm. Visit here and enjoy

Gorgeous location right next to Devil’s Lake State Park. Great camp store with everything you might have forgotten and ice cream cones! Huge sites, green, mowed grass next to tree line. We had full hookups, campground almost full but it was so quiet. Nice fire rings so the mandatory campfire stayed roaring. Kids glow stick parade, the office has a luau meal on Saturday night. We got rained on a lot but it was still our best campground thus far in 2021

New fabulous owners have recreated this beautiful camp ground to accommodate families of all ages. From open air trampoline, to indoor game room and everything else in between, Skillet Campground clearly offers an activity for everyone of all ages! There is also a wonderful catch and release pond located on the grounds as well. We loved the Large level wooded lots, super accommodating owners, fun camp store that is packed with everything and anything you might need!! Location best in the state! 👍
