Location & Surroundings
The park is situated in the scenic Pine River Valley, characterized by rolling hills and expansive mountain-view skies. Ignacio offers a quieter, more authentic atmosphere compared to the bustling tourist hubs nearby. The location provides a unique cultural context, allowing travelers to learn about the heritage of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe while enjoying the natural tranquility of the area.

Travelers will find spacious pull-through sites equipped with full hookups, including 20, 30, and 50-amp service. The RV park is designed for convenience, featuring high-speed Wi-Fi, clean laundry facilities, and private shower suites. One of the most significant draws is the access to the main resort’s amenities. Guests can utilize the indoor swimming pool and fitness center, or head over to the casino for a variety of dining options ranging from casual cafes to an upscale steakhouse, all within walking distance of the sites.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Positioned just 25 miles from Durango, the park is ideal for those wanting to ride the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad without staying in the crowded city center. Outdoor enthusiasts are a short drive from Navajo State Park, which offers excellent boating and fishing opportunities on the reservoir. For history buffs, Mesa Verde National Park is close enough for a comprehensive day trip, showcasing ancient cliff dwellings and archaeological wonders that define the rich past of the American Southwest.
Who This Park Is Best For
This destination is best suited for big-rig travelers who prioritize comfort and security over a rustic camping experience. It is an excellent choice for retirees and couples who enjoy on-site entertainment like gaming, bowling, or fine dining after a day of sightseeing. If you are looking for a well-lit and paved stopover with resort-style perks rather than a secluded woodland site, this facility provides the perfect balance of utility, entertainment, and leisure.

Beautiful RV Park with paved pull-through lots. Nicely Landscaped. Use of indoor, Hot Tub and laundry facilities at adjacent casino included. Camp host Bill was very friendly and helpful.

This place allows check-ins until 10pm. We arrived around 9pm and Bill, the camphost, helped us get settled. We then went to the front hotel desk to pay, which was a bit of a walk. Billand the front desk staff were really friendly. We felt welcome! It was a really nice place for $70/night. It has a pool area with a small lazy river and hot tub. Their welcome packet recommends only self contained rigs stay there. I suspect this is because the bathrooms and showers are far away by the pool area. All sites had full hookups, and there was also a dump station. We stayed 2 nights. We don't have pets, but there is a large unfenced grassy area for pets to pee/poo with pet waste disposal stands nearby. The Casino also has a breakfast buffet on Sundays. The menu varies, but they had standard breakfast fare such as eggs, bacon, and sausage. The unique dish was blueberry crepes, which were delicious!

The people here are all wonderfully nice. The hosts have been here several seasons and very friendly and keep the park super clean. The park is pet friendly, you get access to the swimming pool, but the wifi is horrible. Don't expect to use it for anything. We are not fulltime RVers yet so havent figured out wifi for the rv.

A Very clean and awesome place to stay. I agree it's very accommodating! This was our 1st time with an RV and we will continue to come back. The bathroom and showers were always clean. The pool indoors, is big, and kid-friendly at 3ft"6. The grill and picnic table are right outside your RV parking area. Great space for your canopy and chairs too. And no dirt roads!! Pet friendly. Oh and let's not forget the amenities, bowling, mini golf, and the casino. Last but not least the park hosts, Bill and Judy, were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Thank you, thank you, Bill and Judy ❤️ Overall it's a beautiful place 😍 I more than highly recommend it.

One of the best places we've ever been to. Clean, quite all paved sites with trees, hedges, picnic table and charcoal grill.
