The sites are generally level and well-spaced, ensuring privacy and comfort for rigs of various sizes.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Centrally located and cozy camping. Cabins, RV and tent spots. Grass was nice and gravel roads to sites well maintained. Bath house is clean and very nice to have while tent camping. Welcoming staff and a pleasant place to stay.

Absolutely the worst advertised campground I’ve ever been to in my life. They stated it was “riverside” ummmm nooooo!!! It’s basically a big open field with absolutely no privacy or shade. Picture Woodstock. The “barely there stream of water” was covered by trees at the campsite and there was basically just a huge mound of dirt where they told us to set up. We asked for a different spot and they said they were full. We paid SIXTY SIX dollars for this tent camping experience on the river!! We asked for a refund and they refused (otherwise, I wouldn’t have left a review at all. They should have made it right.) We luckily found a beautiful spot at Deep Creek Campground otherwise we would have had to drive two hours home!!! Do.not.be.scammed. Edit to owners response: Not at any point did I leave a “threatening” email. I reached out and stated that I’d be happy to not leave bad reviews if your business made it right and refunded us when there was no way in heck were staying there in that field. I hate leaving bad reviews because I know how it can affect a business. No hard feelings! It worked out better for us because Deep Creek was free and absolutely beautiful! (Just 6 miles down the road and probably 100 campsites on a real creek!)

The new owners went out of their way to make sure our group was taken care of! Outstanding service and amenities, always friendly and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area! Can't wait to go back!

This place is great. Easy to get to. Gorgeous. Cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen at a camp ground. And the ladies at check in are fun and kind. Edit to add - the water from their spigots is possibly the best drinking water I’ve ever had.

I love and hate to give this place a 5 star rating. Trust me I don't give them out often at all. I love the place. In a little valley kind of 1/2 way up the mountain. I grab a tiny cabin here when I visit. Everything but running water accept in the stream outside and the restroom is nearby. Plus there is electric, heater and AC. Beats hauling a camper or messing around with a tent. Cheaper than hotel by far! So why do I hate to give a 5 star? Because this place is like your very best fishing hole. You don't want to give it up! So please do stay here but just don't take My cabin when I go. LOL

I stayed in one of the cabins for one night while making my drive from NC to OK and it was a quiet location. The lady that checked me in was super nice and even moved me a bigger cabin since I had my dogs. The sheets were soft and even had fire wood located at the check in area. It’s located in a great spot near everything and my favorite part was it was close enough to the highway I didn’t have to go out of my way but a couple minutes. I will definitely start using this place as my break from driving on my trips back and forward. I have Verizon and I had good cell service.

Very nice campground just 5 minutes off hwy 74 near Bryson City, NC. Good spacing between sites, clean shower house and restrooms. Road is a bit twisty and has one hill that is a bit of a climb, but our 31' trailer had no problems getting there. We used a pull thru site with full hook up. Scenery is excellent, night sky view exceptional. Had heavy rains while on-site, good drainage considering 3" fell. 30 amp good, sewer good. Only minor issue is water had noticeable sulfur smell, very little taste or shower issues. This is a very good tent campground. Quite adequate RV sites, I would suggest under 35 feet due to drive in.. Longer rigs will find the drive in "exciting". Overall condition of of facilities very good.
