This is on the east side of the river. It has a great big area you can launch a boat. Lots of parking spaces. I tried fishing off the shore as the winds were not affecting that are no luck on the fishing as I only used grasshoppers as bait 😅

Great camping stopover on our way west and return trips. Have been here many times over the past ten years and the park is well maintained and sites spacious. Weekends fill up with many locals enjoying family time! It’s great.

Beautiful and peaceful place to chill. It was on a Sunday afternoon so we ended up being the only people there. There is a $10 entrance fee.

Campground was great. Most camping pads were on a higher or lower elevation then the next pad next to you wasnt like a flat pasture that camping bad were on. Plenty of trees for shade and places to put a tent. Only thing no dock for docking a boat, had to drive across the highway to dock. Beach was big but need more sand, was more of a rocky beach.

Beautiful area along the Missouri River. We camped one night in the north campground - site 51E. Nice, clean campground with some shade and ample space between campsites. It was very windy, as typical for SD. The beach was raked but more dirt than sand. The wind churned up the water so it was dark along the shore but beautiful aqua blue farther out. Bathrooms and showers were fine.
