We LOVED this campground! Stayed here to tour the black hills area. Some of the sites are small, some are super spacious. There are miles of bike trails (paved) a super nice fish hatchery with ponds of fish literally jumping out of the water, and a park with pickleball courts within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

We showed up without a reservation and were lucky enough to score the best spot in the park. Beautiful trees and grassy areas for tents. Clean well run campground with friendly staff. A gem for sure!

Some spots are a little tight. We made it but our awning almost touched the camper slide st the next site. But beautiful, easy to get to and quiet. Great trails. Dog friendly. Just get the biggest site u can.

Great campground not too far from Deadwood. The staff were extremely friendly and proficient. The sites were very clean. We stayed one night in a Premium site that had a gas grill and hammock. Those sites back up to the bike/walking path that runs beside a trout fishing stream. We then moved to a regular FHU. $50 per night in June 2025. The bathrooms stayed clean during our three day stay. The sites are close to each other. Most of the sites had good shade and were mostly level. We'll definitely stay again!

It was a very pleasant and quiet campground. We were close to Spearfish creek. The fish hatchery was within walking distance. I would recommend. Great location in relation to several sights. However Google maps gave old directions and the campground says they have been trying to get it updated
