Hiking, golf, and wildlife viewing are all easily accessible within a short radius of the park grounds.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is an excellent choice for families and retirees who want a quiet, scenic stay without sacrificing modern utilities or proximity to town. Just did 5 days in a tent at this park after going all over the east coast, this is the nicest, best campground out of dozens I have stayed at thus far. Mary was an excellent camp host. Heather working the office was very helpful. It was so clean, staff professional, showers hot! We drove around and saw other campgrounds and nothing even compares with the beauty and campsite set up, they can accommodate just about any rig it looks like too! If I am ever back this way its a no brainer where to stay.

Our site right on the Flathead River was quiet and beautiful. Level, fairly spacious sites. Management very responsive to questions and concerns - although there were not many concerns. Clean and quiet.

I had a wonderful night's camping here. Very friendly and helpful camp host. It is so nice to have a friendly check in process at the end of a long day of riding. The tent sites are wonderful soft grassy areas with a picnic table. I can't emphasize enough how nice it is to pitch your tent on grass and not gravel. There is road noise from the nearby busy road but that is unavoidable considering the location. I would certainly stay here again in the future.

This RV park is a true hidden gem. It was suprisely one of the most peaceful and private places we have stayed all year. Mary, who works in the office, was a literal angel. Such a kind soul and always eager to help us in any way she could. There is a huge lawn area for your dogs to run and the trees on the property were gorgeous. We enjoyed walking by the river and the laundry room was updated and nice. 10/10

This is an amazing, comfortable, friendly, peaceful campground on the Flathead River. Our campsite was right on the river. Absolutely wonderful. Our check-in was seamless and Mary at the front desk is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. In the evening after a very warm day she came by the campsites with ice cream bars!!! Her manager Sheena is the mastermind behind this heartwarming campground. We wish we could stay longer.

Spruce On The River has so much room!! The staff really went above and beyond. We had some difficulties with our trailer and were needing a lot of help. The staff provided us with suggestions, checked on our well being and helped with making sure we were safe. They were helpful the second we got onto the property. It is right by the river and offers a quiet peaceful stay. The bathrooms are older but very clean and the grounds are well maintained. I would definately come again.

Heather took great care of us! Very friendly service. Beautiful view of the Flathead River and mountains. Free showers with wonderful water pressure and hot water. Very clean bathrooms and campground. Our only complaint was the highway noise, but the setting was a great antidote!

A very pleasant place. The staff was friendly & professional. The space was clean & level with full hookups. A few dogs were allowed to run free but were not aggressive. The river was beautiful and there was a resident family of Cooper's Hawks to watch. Not a lot of bees and biting flies, but they were definitely present. There is a bit of freeway noise but otherwise it was a pleasant, quiet stay. We will definitely be coming back.

Really enjoyed our stay and even extended by a couple of nights. The spots on the river are so great. Too bad they are so expensive and don't have sewer! That's the only complaint. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Mary sells ice cream for $2 in the evenings with bubbles on her golf cart, and she loans out yard games. She's a gem! We enjoyed our stay.

This campsite is just lovely, fantastic staff, lovely clean bathrooms and showers, very pet friendly with a large area to walk your dog. We have been here twice, once in the spring and again in late July, both times we really enjoyed our stay. The camp host comes around with an ice cream cart in the evening complete with bubbles and Hawaiian music playing. There are things for the kids to do do too. Everywhere you look there are little activity centers and checker boards . Its one of our favorite places to camp
