Always a fun spot to stop at with the kids. Nice playground next to the water.

The review for Stafford County Park is a "Campground" sitting on the shores of Lake Huron not a hotel? However they do offer several cute camper cabins. We truly enjoy every visit to Stafford and Port Hope.

Simple campground, lots of tent, camper sites, and a few cabins. Cabins have bathrooms which was a great feature. Mattresses are not very comfortable. If you have back issues bring a mattress topper.

Our camp site was a very ideal and perfect location to wake up to see the lake every morning and sleep to the sound of it at night. Campground was extremely quiet throughout the hours of the day and night as well. Bathrooms and showers are not the best, but it's camping so it can't be all that glamorous. Overall, I would recommend this place for any family vacation

This is an absolutely beautiful park right on Lake Huron. I have stayed here several times. My one complaint is the excessive yard lights at night. Some are even over firepits. Not a super relaxing way to enjoy a fire. It would be a suggestion to turn them off after a certain time like 10pm. Or get rid of half of them just have them by intersections and the bathroom. They are everywhere. It's a bit much. Other than that the park is clean, the staff is nice and it's walking distance to town. The water is rocky and a bit mucky, so bring water shoes, or drive to a different beach down the coast for swimming. There are a lot of options in the area.

My friends rented one of the cabins & were pleasantly surprised by them. Small but clean, had all the basics for a nice stay & they allowed dogs in them, which is very rare! We stayed in the campground in our rv. Very clean & Maintaned . Beach was very nice. Definately going back!!!

Very nice park and very quiet. We came with our family, we had a cabin which was really nice. The only complaint is the beach is kinda mucky, but really out of their control. We did have family stay in the full hook up spots across the street and it was dry and barren. No trees and they couldn’t face their camper toward the lake. We got lucky with the cabin!!

Very cute little cabins. We enjoyed our stay very much, very very quiet campground experience. We went Sunday through Tuesday (so might have caught a good quiet time.) Nice location right on Lake Huron, was fun for the kids to make sand castles. The shore was very mucky, would not suggest planning to swim but nice to be at the lake side. There was a nice playground for the kids as well. Adding photos of the interior because there were none before we went. Air conditioning was a huge bonus! We would return for sure. Thanks for having us!
