We booked a creek side site this past weekend (Oct 24-26) and had a wonderful time. The campground was decorated for Halloween and there were activities throughout the day on Saturday. When we first got there, one of the inner tires on my RV was low. The staff went out of their way to help get that tire pumped up. They also checked in with me to make sure we (and the tire) were okay. I can’t wait to come back next Spring!

Campsite C-10 was awesome that backed up against the creek. Right next to Bath house. Staff was friendly. We had a great time visiting friends. Kids were entertained with the large covered play/pickle ball area. Large campground allowing kids to ride their bikes. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Love visiting the Creek to see family that have a permanent spot here. Use to be able to come in for the day but no longer allowed. You either have to know someone camping there or camp yourself. Fun swimming area, ability to fish and see nature at its purest of beauty with small waterfalls and streams near. Have an awesome picnic shed for eating, events and crafts. Play area for the kiddos and a nice updated family pool.

Just arrived back home from a weekend getaway here. Location was beautiful I will give 3 stars for that, but the gnats were unbearable, we couldn't even be outside to enjoy anything.I know bugs are going to be present it's camping but when I say hundreds were swarming you I am not exaggerating. No wifi, so if you plan on visiting plan on NO phone service at all. Campers are pretty close to one another sewer from front camper was practically at our front door. A golf cart is almost a must if you plan on visiting the pool or store ( depending on your camper location). Beautiful scenery, but I personally would not visit again. We did meet some nice people there.

I cannot get over how beautiful this campground is !! Had a little trip this past weekend down there and with it being my family’s first time visiting we had so much fun and felt so welcomed we are already planning our next trip!! The staff were so friendly and we loved all the family activities. We did a rubber duck race the kids were able to decorate along with tie dye shirts, played putt putt, many trips down a cool river with tubes. The grounds were so clean only downfall is Verizon has no service but honestly that’s sometimes the best part of getting away with the family!

We spent the holiday weekend at Steele Creek Park and had a great time! The new pool was a nice touch for the hot weather, clean, well-maintained and not as crowded as I expected. It was a nice break from the creek. All staff were friendly and helped guide us to our spot when we arrived. Overall, it was a great family getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

This place could be much more than it is. Overall the site and campground was nice. But, if you or your children have an E-Bike be prepared for them to be harassed the entire stay. They have a certain staff member there that continued to attack kids as they were riding their bikes and causing no harm or foul play. He brought one of our children to tears and she wasn't even doing anything wrong (she had the key out of her electric bike and was pedaling) She tried to explain and he continued to make her feel invalid. The sad part is... he never spoke with the parents he just continued to speak to the kids. We did speak with the office and none of them seemed to be on the same page regarding the e-bikes. The only thing we could think of is, he gets discount on his permanent site, or the permanent members truly do not like the weekend campers and want the campground to themselves, or this particular staff member just likes to attack kids in general. So keep your eyes out if you have little ones with you. We will not be back and we had 2 other couples/campers that booked as well.

Very disappointed in how my fiancé and his family was treated during there stay at this camp ground. I held this place to high standard. But hearing how they were talked to and treated while staying is very disappointing especially when it’s people who work at the camp ground. I expected better. To the older man who has been there for a long time thank you for being kind very respectful. But to the other guy who acted very distasteful and belittling others please find another job before you end up treating adults and everyone’s kids this way and end up losing business.

Your going to WALK A LOT here, as you CAN’T utilize your own GOLF CART, unless your a full time resident or staying here for greater than 30 days. Poor cell service. Decent prices. Decent availability. Swimming hole with beach.
