The only great thing about this place is James! They have a serious mice problem. I found mice dropping in my mattress and bedspring covers. I literally had to throw these items away when I got to my new home. I will be calling corporate about this Monday. This isn't cool at all!! Take your items elsewhere.

I'm not sure why you're focused on getting reviews only from people who are happy with their experience when there is so much room for improvement. Let's start with customer service. I made a reservation with the help of a very able reservation agent in the morning for a 5x10 unit at the Hubert street (Raleigh) location. When I arrived at 1:45 that afternoon, it was raining and door to the office was locked, the lights were off, and the hours were not posted on the door. There was no way for me to know if the office was open, if anyone had been there at all that day, or if anyone was going to arrive at some point. I called the office phone number and was kicked over to the general number for making reservations or payments. I talked to 3 different agents and got 3 different responses as to what they could or couldn't do for me. No one could tell me why the office appeared to be closed during normal Saturday business hours, which are posted online. I don't know my way around Raleigh, so searching out another location close to where I needed it to be wasn't an option. After 45 minutes of standing in the rain, my furniture getting good and wet, a car drove up from which emerged a woman carrying a shopping bag. When I asked her if she worked here, she stated that she did. When I told her that I'd been waiting for 45 minutes in the rain, she said, "Well I had to have lunch. I'm sorry if my lunch inconvenienced you." I'm pretty sure that this is not the kind of person a company would want to be interacting with their customers. She repeated this several times. I would have been mortified if I'd created such a bad situation for a customer. And my apology would have been given with sincerity. Not that passive aggressive b.s. she was doling out. That I was charged the $25 admin fee essentially to wait in the rain for her was rich."Everybody has to pay it," she explained. Clearly she has no authority to override a fee that adds further insult to a customer. The unit she selected, turns out, was full of someone's stuff. "I did a lock check. I guess I should have opened the door." I guess so. She didn't "make" me pay for renting me a 10x10 unit bc there were no other 5x10 units available. Her words to the property manager on the phone - "I won't make her pay." Seriously. I might suggest that before an employee leaves the office for lunch or whatever, they check to see if there are any reservations for the day. It wasn't so busy that she couldn't have taken 5 minutes to call anyone with an outstanding reservation for that day to see when they might be coming by. Or set a designated out of the office window of time and POST IT so people know not to show up to a dark and locked business. I've left a voice mail for the office manager but am still waiting on a call back.

James at the Hubert St, Raleigh NC location was more then helpful. I was trying to help a friend out by bringing stuff to his storage and I knew nothing about using the lifts and pallets to bring the stuff to the storage area and I didn't even know there was a trick to opening the door. Thank goodness for James. Not only did he show me how to use the lift and open the door, but he also helped me to put everything away!! I went from stressed to stress-free!!

Storage Kings is a top-notch facility. James is a true professional; he’s very helpful, friendly, understanding, and respectful. He took the time to give me a tour of the facility and showed me the differences in size amongst the units currently available. He offered a good price and it only took a few minutes to complete the paperwork. So when you are in need of extra storage, this facility is clean, friendly, and affordable. I would recommend Storage Kings hands down.
