This is a very large, square gravel lot, with sites around perimeter. Best thing is paying online, getting the gate code and self check-in and out. Should be about $30 max. And frankly, at least site 14 want all that flat. Positive slope (up from back-in point). They did give a senior discount. A reviewer stated "quiet park". It is NOT quiet in the least. It sounds like you're camping on the I-70 median. Really noisy all hours you're likely to be awake or trying to get to sleep.

Quiet Park, security gated Enterance. No sewer hookups. There are only 6 of the sites that offer sewer hookups and they have full timers in them. There is a dump station on site, no water to rinse out hose. No laundry or showers so if you are staying more than 2 nights you will have to go dump tanks as there is no way to conserve water usage by taking showers or doing laundry elsewhere. We were there volunteering our services for 5 days, working on a house for a women's shelter. So needless to say we needed shower daily and laundry The slips were nice and level. The park is small, well cared for, very clean. The owner was very kind and accommodating. We had a bit of a repair job that set us back from leaving, needed an extra day to have a mobile service come do a repair.

We worked out of town for several months and stayed at Sundown RV. Really quiet place not a lot of traffic gas station right there across the street if we needed anything the staff at the gas station are also awesome.Dennis Nancy everybody was great. The boys and I had a lot of good nights out there strumming the guitar, cooking steaks and shrimp lobster eating salmon underneath their cabana really a great place. If we’re ever back in Salina, this is where we will be staying.

You get what you pay for. That being said, it's ok for overnight but be careful when you drive in because it's up hill and if you have a bicycle rack or any other rack on the back of your camper, it will drag on the road. Also, if your camper is much more that 20', it will stick out in the road as you wait on the gate to open. Sites are not level. Would I stay here again? NO!

No bathrooms. No showers. No manicured grounds. No front desk. Just a level clean gravel lot with electric/water hookups and plenty of space for easy entry/exit. Dumping station also available. Great place to overnight right by I-70. Gas station across the street. Five stars for what it is.

Conveniently located right off of I70, this is very much a no frills campground. We were scheduled to stay 3 nights but decided to only stay 1. There is nothing wrong with the campground but there is also nothing here, not even a great place to walk the dog. It is fine for an overnight on your way someplace else!

Convenient location right off I-70, nice & clean RV park. It’s a simple parking lot but we enjoyed it so much. one night it was pretty packed and it was still so peaceful and not crowded. We have three little ones and just so happen to choose the lot right next to the play ground (spot 12) it was perfect, I’d say the best spot here! Tedd or Todd (the owner) was super helpful and kind, he went out of his way to assist us with the dump station (provided) and backing in as we needed some help. Rolling Hills Zoo is a 4 minute drive away which was a wonderful experience for my family. The travel plaza across the street is a general convenience store.

A great little 'no frills' RV park with very easy on and off I-70 in Salina, Kansas. Todd (owner) was super helpful on the phone and gave us a perfect site to accommodate our motorhome. Sundown RV PARK is a great, safe, gated park to spend the night or longer while in Salina. Gravel sites, small kid's play area. Very little highway noise. Highly recommend this clean, well managed, well maintained RV Park. And if you get the opportunity to talk with Todd, you will come away with a sense of pride for the Entrepreneurial Spirit that makes America great!! Loved my conversations with him!

Perfect for what it seems to be designed for. A place to stop, be able to have electric, open your slides and sleep. We liked it alot.

We were headed to Colorado with an empty horse trailer. We called the owner and he was very helpful. He suggested which open rv spot would work best. Easy sign up on the website. Easy access on and off the interstate and very clean. If we are passing through we will stay again
