The Riverside Ranch RV Park Motel & Campground offers a peaceful retreat along the banks of the Sevier River. Situated in the small town of Hatch, this park provides a blend of traditional camping and modern convenience. It serves as an ideal base camp for travelers exploring the high desert landscapes of Southern Utah while maintaining a quiet, rural atmosphere away from the heavier crowds found directly at the national park entrances.

Location & Surroundings

Nestled in a valley between red rock formations and rolling ranch lands, the park's setting is defined by the scenic Sevier River. The surrounding area is characterized by wide-open spaces and clear night skies. Its position in Hatch puts visitors within a short drive of world-class geological wonders, yet the immediate surroundings remain tranquil, offering an authentic high-elevation ranch experience where the sound of the water replaces highway noise.

Amenities & Park Features

The facility caters to various travel styles with full-hookup RV sites that include both 30 and 50-amp service. Guests have access to essential facilities such as clean restrooms, hot showers, and on-site laundry services. The park is pet-friendly and features communal fire pits for evening gatherings. For those not traveling in an RV, the property also includes cozy motel rooms and designated tent camping areas, ensuring a comfortable stay for everyone in the group.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

The primary draw is the proximity to Bryce Canyon National Park, located just 25 miles away. Visitors are also within driving distance of Zion National Park and the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy fly fishing directly from the property or explore local trails for hiking and ATV riding. The nearby town of Panguitch offers historic charm, while the surrounding Dixie National Forest provides endless opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing.

We came near the end of the season. Nichole (ph) & husband Joel were very friendly and helpful. We had RV issues and had to use the shower house; it was very clean and comfy, even with wx in the 20's. Laundry was large, very clean and everything worked. Nothing was out of order. Very rare! Excellent place for our large dog to be off leash. The deer wandering through was an added bonus. This is where you want to stay!!

We stayed in The Outlaw room in the motel and it was perfect! Our only regret was that we didn’t stay more than one night. The hostesses were super friendly and the property was beautiful. Perfect home base for Bryce Canyon National Park.

Beautiful motel in a location with stunning views. Host went out of her way to make me comfortable, even bringing a wine glass to my room when she knew I was going out to grab a bottle of wine. Extraordinary, top notch service. I enjoyed it so much I called to book an additional night. They were booked. My loss!

We stayed 2 nights with a 45 Ft Toy Hauler. Plenty of space, easy and friendly check in with Nicole. There is a creek that we cast a line in and a field we were allowed to have our dog off leash for ball play. On our 2nd night we had dinner at the red dirt diner on the same property. Great atmosphere and good burgers.

We stayed in the motel portion not the RV grounds. We found Nicole to be very nice and helpful upon check in. If you prefer a chain hotel this may not be for you. This is a cute motel with comfortable beds, and beautiful scenery. Being able to use the fire pit after the sun went down was just great. There are no TV’s but why would you need them when you have a beautiful night sky. We would definitely stay here again when traveling that way. The sunrise was exceptional also!

The staff is very friendly and the park is large and roomy. Pet friendly. Rates are very affordable. Showers, community camp fire and BBQ area, small playground, volleyball court with balls, laundry on site and a 24 hr recreation room. Beautiful scenery with a creek running through the park. I highly recommend this location.

You can tell that the manager at Riverside Ranch loves her job and people.  She is so friendly and helpful with all your questions  and super knowledgeable of the surrounding area and directions to all there is to see. Nichol is great she gets a 10+ and Two thumbs up 👍 👍 Thank you for an awesome week.

This is a wonderful campground. Nearby cows out in the pasture. Right off route 89 but no traffic noise. The hostess is simply very special. She called before our arrival, totally understood when we were running very late and when we arrived the next day she took off our bill the prior night that we did not make it there; never has a campground volunteered this consideration! On Mothers Day morning, she had a list of campsites with mothers and brought flowers to each site. This is truly a one in a million campground in Hatch, Utah. II recommend it to anyone planning to visit Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks!

The Riverside Ranch Campsite was exceptional. The management is not only friendly and approachable but they also know the area well and recommended the best hikes in area, ( Shout out Cole!!!) Clean bathrooms. Close to Bryce Canyon and Red Rock Canyon. Will return on our next trip to gorgeous southern Utah.
