Good spot to camp. We had a great camp host, he and his wife were very helpful when we came in I wanted to change our site no problem. Very courteous and checking on all campers to make sure all was good. We enjoyed the quiet stay.

I stayed two nights here over a crisp October weekend (2025), a nice escape just north of Lexington. I was tent camping and not in an RV. The tent sites are nice, nestled under tall shade trees, with three hiking trails and creeks although the creek near my site was dry at the time I was there. Clean bathrooms, the staff was out the week during my time there. It is a convenient spot if you plan to visit the Ark Encounter. A few letdowns kept it from five stars: They ran out of firewood, so plan accordingly. The site and confirmation advertised picnic tables at every tent spot but only one had one (not a deal breaker, but when expecting a table it is disappointing when there is not one), and highway noise crept in at times. The worst part which is not the fault of the park (or it would have been two stars) was two nights in a row there were campers a few spots down from me sitting in their vehicles with them running. So the AC compressor would kick on and at times I could hear their radio and this went on very late into the evening (after 10:00) and then early morning (as early as 6:30). Not great when you desire to only hear the sounds of nature. Not to mention are they rich? How much fuel did they burn? LOL I would not personally stay here again, but I feel it would suffice for most campers, especially if you are in a RV. I am just accustomed to more quiet camping.

We brought our truck with a hitchhiker in the bed. Arrived after hours the first night and our call was returned promptly. A nice little place in the hollers of Kentucky! We never met the host, because of unforseen circumstances on their part, but everything was provided that we needed. Warm bathrooms and a very hot shower!

We had such a great time tent camping here. There was plenty of space between our site and others, lovely trails, play area for the kids. The bathhouse was clean. Great location—close to the ark and less than an hour from the Cincinnati zoo. Great place to stay.

Beautiful location. Kind owners and employees. Easy reservations and when we needed to change our dates, very accommodating. Close to everything we wanted to do. Easy day trips to the Ark Encounter, the Creation Museum and Cincinnati Zoo. 🙂 We accidentally left a tool at our campsite. Before we even realized it, David called us on the road and offered to mail it to us! So thankful. Highly recommend!

Three Springs Campground is in great need of fixing up. I would describe it as old and tired. Zero amenities. No sewer hook ups. Couldn’t walk the nature trails as we were covered with ticks when we tried. Stayed here in our 36 foot travel trailer to visit the Ark and museum. We had to drive over narrow cement bridges with no guard rails to get in and out of our site. The maintenance family there was very nice and accommodating. The bathrooms, though old, were clean. Not worth the price.

Spend the night add this RV park for it conference. Place was a mess with mud everywhere. There was a group of people that was partying all night singing at the top of their lungs. They cranked up the music at midnight and continued until four o'clock in the morning, with no intervention from the park. When I called to inform them what happened, they said it was unacceptable and that they would take care of it. They were surprised that their camp liaison did not take care of the situation. I would not be surprised if he was not involved in it. There was no refund of any sort or follow through with us. We come in the area every year and will not be coming back to this place.

We spent a few days here to see the sites…Kentucky Horse Park, The Ark Encounter and we also were able to take in some horse racing. This park is set back and nestled in a quiet woodsy atmosphere. The new owner is doing many improvements and repairs. We were quite comfortable and very happy with the site AND the staff!

This is a beautiful, quiet campground! There is a little stream that runs through the camp sites, and many picturesque hiking trails. All the sites are surrounded by trees in this peaceful hide away! The owners are very helpful, kind, and take great care of their property. Lord willing, we will definitely be visiting again!

We enjoyed our rustic cabin off season camping experience. Unfortunately it rained multiple times throughout our visit and our walkway from the cabin to the bathhouse got muddy pretty quickly. Definitely would recommend adding some gravel so it doesn’t get as muddy. Bathhouse was clean and appeared recently updated. Easy access to 75 and a short distance to gas stations or Dollar General. The heating element in the cabin worked well and kept us cozy. Having the single use coffee pot, microwave and dishes available to use was very handy. Location to tourist attractions is reasonable with almost an hour north or south to popular cities. If you needed to contact the owner provided their business number for easy access as well as onsite camp host. Overall, we had a great time
