Very nice people at camp store and on the phone. Beautiful location. Bathhouses are kept clean. Sites are pretty spacious for a private campground! Playset and yard games available. We come every year!

We love this campground and the area it is in. We've stayed several times and every time we show up we're treated like neighbors and friends. Very friendly staff. Very clean everywhere. Tons for kids to do. Highly recommend!!!☺️☺️☺️

Loved the pools, showers were clean and great water pressure. Just a little disappointed at the size of our site and how close they were to your neighbor camping beside you. Location was great near a lot of great things to do. Looked like there was some pretty good sites but we unfortunately didn't have one.

Timberline is everything you could want from a campground and more! We stayed in a very spacious tent site that was a short walk from the clean showers and restrooms. To compliment these nice facilities were very accommodating and friendly employees. I also appreciated being able to buy ice and firewood on site. This was an excellent place to relax as we explored Lake Michigan and the dunes. We'll be back!

Such a beautiful campground. We stayed on a site in the "old" part of the campground. A whole new section with dozens of sites was just recently opened. And you would think that the desirable sites would be the new ones. But the older sites have been so well maintained that for us it was better to take advantage of the beauty of the more mature trees and vegetation. Our son camped with his family in the site next to ours, and we all had a great time. The grandkids took advantage of the beautiful pools. Our son used the washers and dryers and said they were handy and clean. We reserved the same site for next year, and added a couple of days so we could enjoy the campground and the local area for an even longer time. We would recommend this campground to anyone who asks

This is our third year staying at timberline, we are there for salmon fishing, they had kept the pool opened after the holiday it was still so hot so our little guy could swim which was so nice, they have a jumping blob thing, great park.. but just the sites, trees, buildings and entire park are wonderful! Clean, clean bathrooms nice showers, so spacious that’s such a nice part of it all too, not being packed on top of others. The fish cleaning station works great. Quiet too, that’s also very important .. loved how it sit back into the woods away from the road. See you next year timberline

We've been fishing the Betsie River in Brnzonia for years. The last several we've stayed at Timberline. We never seem to get a decent site. They don't allow you to book a site, so we've been booking very early to try and get a decent site, we booked in March/April for a 10 day stay in August/Sept. Arrive today to get, a make-shift site in a driveway, all dirt, no shade, too narrow for a fire pit or to be able to even sit outside, next to the playground. Needless to say, it's our last stay here, if we can find another place we won't even finish out this stay before requiring a refund to move. There is no reason to stay here if you can't even get a decent site, facilities are so-so, without a decent site there is no attraction to being here. Go literally anywhere else.

We had the most amazing time at this campground. People were wonderful and accommodating everything for us. Close by to fun stuff. Not to mention the two heated pools. Yahoo! Ellen, the gal who checked us in was extremely accommodating. Even mapped out a bike route for us. Did I mention miniature golf and ice cream? Family Fare just down the street. It's a perfect location and we definitely will back.

The location was easy to find and close to all of the fun that Frankfort and Beulah have to offer. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and the campground was quiet in the evenings. We will definitely be back!

We camped, the sites were great. The staff was very helpful and nice. Bathrooms, pool and the rest of the grounds were kept up so nice. The bathrooms were the best I have ever been in any campground and we camp a lot. Cleanliness is very important to me. Who ever designed the showers, knew what they were doing! Lots to keep the kids busy also. Thanks to all for a great Family trip. Hopefully we can visit again!
