Yer basic Thousand Trails campground. No problems with this one. 😁 Lots of beautiful trees in the fall. (well the trees are always there, but they have nice color in autumn. 🍂 🍁 🍂 ) Plenty of good RV sites. The majority seem to be occupied by annual/ permanent residence. I believe all the sites are full hook up with water, sewer, and electricity. Staff were helpful and friendly. Roads are paved with potholes, RV sites are gravel. Pool is only open June - August. Restrooms were clean and decent. Cell signal 📶 with ATT was weak. No decent WiFi - bring your own Starlink. Noise was minimal in October 2025. Neighbors were absent or quiet. You’re a mile or two from the main roadway. It’s a windy trip into town and stores. Not close, but not too far.

Potholes throughout the park, one bathhouse closed with no explanation (a screw lodged in between edge of mens and womens door to prevent entry. Second bathhouse in serious need of repair: flooring in dire need of being repainted, caulking around base of commode looked real nasty, soap dispenser empty for more than 2 weeks, a front door that wouldn't close, letting in mosquitoes, no paper towels dispenser (only a wall mounted hand dryer), a single bathroom stall, with missing wall tile, no ventilation, so you start sweating after you dry off after your shower. One of the 2 shower stalls had a door that barely opened to get inside. The second shower stall was jokingly labeled as handicapped, had a rusted out shower caddy, a filthy soap receptacle, and removable shower head too high to reach fr anyone in a wheelchair, no grab bars ( 2 are recommended), and no seat or bench, inside. One camper told me that the owners are only interested in profit, and let everything run down. To make matters worse, I was assigned to n RV pad, so difficult to back in, that it took me almost 30 minute, only to find out there was no city water hookup. I was then reassigned to another site with a faulty water spigot that I had to contact AJ, the maintenance man, to help me turn it on. He was apparently a new hire with little experience, although he did figure it out. Overall, a very bad experience, after being very tired after a long drive to get to the Park, getting later and later towards sunset, unavoidable, because Scotrun was booked up, which is always in much better shape. Camping here this week, but little to no improvements made. I've been back 4 times since this writing, abd I haven't seen any improvements.

We had a great stay at Timothy Lake South in our travel trailer. Our site was clean and level. We had a full hook up sites and hook-ups worked great. The shower house was sparkling clean and the showers were powerful and hot. There is so much to explore in this area! We will definitely be back.

Timothy Lake South remains one of my favorite getaways. The campground is surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful escape while still being conveniently close to all the attractions in the Poconos. While I’m not a fan of the assigned site policy, I truly appreciate the staff’s flexibility and willingness to help me find a good spot among the limited number of member sites now available. Their effort to accommodate has made all the difference and has made my recent stays at the campground very enjoyable. Thank you.

Timothy Lake South Campground near East Stroudsburg PA. We have been here a few times. This is a good campground. The roads are paved with only a few potholes. Facilities are keep clean and they have done some upgrades to the bathhouses (they were ok before). This is a very quiet campground. Other campers are very nice. Access to the campground does require some uphill travel but the roads are safe with little challenge. Wireless service here is very limited and the pay option wifi is slow at best. Most sites are wooded but very accessible with a huge number being pull through spots. There is a pool and laundry on site. The pool is well maintained and the laundry is clean. There are not a lot of planned activities here, it's more of a chill campground and go enjoy the numerous nature walks, waterfalls and fishing areas. Grass cutting could be a lot better. The sites themselves are generally semi level. Sites set ups are really good as most of not all are full hok up with 30 and 50 amp available. The utility hookups are generally near the middle of the driver's side of each site. Sewer hook ups are solid and easy to run your stinky slinky to. Water pressure is good and I have never had a power issue here in my 5 visits. Issues I had are with Thousand Trails site assignment. They "are booked full" but over half the sites are empty everyday. I got a site in full sun and they refused to move me to a shaded site. The staff was just not willing to work to rearrange to accommodate my request.

Campground is nice, most sites are a nice size. Ours had plenty of gravel and was well taken care of. Bath house was in rough shape and not very clean. Staff is not very accommodating, we stayed with a group of 2 other campers and we requested sites close together but were separated, even though there were multiple open sites the entire weekend right beside both of us so we could have been all together.

Good park for a large RV. Many pull through spots and easy access. Some of the sites are kind of skinny (I could not put out my awning w/I hitting a tree even though my RV was right up against the power pole). Not a lot to do in the park for a family, but being in the Poconos, there are many hiking trails and easy access to the Delaware water gap.

Have been coming to Timothy Lake South for a number of years now to camp with family. The area is nice and relaxing but at times the campers can get rowdy or loud with music and partying. The staff at the Campground was polite and welcoming. Some sites are small and some others are quite large. The earlier you get there for your stay the better site selection you have.

One of my favorite Thousand trails parks. Nice heated pool that is well maintained. It was fun playing Bingo and meeting the nice activity director. Beautiful setting with lots to do within a short drive
