Overall, I found the campground to be quiet considering it is on a busy thoroughfare. The office staff and groundworkers were both knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely stay there again. Though, in all honesty, I will not be tenting again, these old bones cannot take it any longer!

I tried to leave a much more detailed review but for some reason it would not post. Please do not waste your money staying at this place They will rip you off Long story short I rented the cabin for the weekend for my disabled veteran father which cost me $668. The first night we were there neither one of the TVs worked. I was told that there was internet here when I booked the stay but when I got there the cabin was so far away from the internet it didn't work. Along with no internet they offer you no linens you have to bring your own sheets blankets pillows towels. For $668 you could at least make the bed. The last night we stayed my father sat down and one of the kitchen chairs and it had cracked. The next day after we had checked out I called the office at 10:00 a.m. when they opened and informed them about the broken chair. I get a phone call a few hours later telling me that they're going to be charging me $120 for the broken chair after they had already refunded me the $125 deposit. I told the lady that worked at the counter I did not think that was fair and I would like to speak to the boss she told me she would have her boss call me when he could. About 30 45 minutes later I get a notification my credit card was charged $120. I called back and asked why the boss didn't call me to discuss this The lady at the front counter told me her boss told her that he is not going to call me back and to just charge my credit card anyways. I think the way that they handle this situation was very poorly and I am appalled that they would treat a disabled veteran the way they did. We had been planning to make a return trip in March to stay in the same cabin. We will no longer be doing that. They may have charged me $120 but I'm no longer staying there come March which means they're losing out on 668 or more dollars. My father-in-law was planning a trip to come into town in April and was going to stay there He's not staying there anymore either. And I also know someone that's currently in the park that is going to be leaving because of the way they treated me and my father. Completely unacceptable do better treat your customers better and don't rip them off $120 for a $40 maybe $50 chair kitchen table chair.

Do not stay at this place, especially in the cabins period I am a disabled veteran and I stayed here for the weekend to visit my grandchildren period the last night I was here. I sat down in one of the very cheap kitchen table chairs and it cracked. I was honest and had my son call the next morning and tell them what happened. I could not believe that they came back and told me they were charging. My son's credit card, a $120 for a chair. That is probably forty dollars at best. The first night I was there couldn't even watch TV. Cuz Neither one that the t v's worked didn't have internet service either. Please do not waste your money at this place.

Lots of shade which is what we asked for at our gravel pull through site. Staff escorted us to Rv03 and guided us in. The site needs more gravel and the utilities worked , but are in a low spot that pools when it rains. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bath house was being renovated so there were two portable showers brought in by the pool. I think there are a lot of full timers and the sites with concrete pads would have been a better option. Apparently the gravel site had better shade and was a couple bucks cheaper. Cable worked but I wasn't impressed with the channels. I had to run out about 60' of Cable to connect. Wifi worked well for surfing around , but not strong enough to stream. There is a propane fill station on site as well. The office has a few items for sale as well. Navigation is funky as it tells you to turn on Quebec street and it's not marked so be on the watch for the sign. The pavement has seen better days as well. We lucked out on our stay since two Hurricanes Humberto and Ismerlda were bearing down on us but Humberto pulled Ismerlda out into the Atlantic. We just got wind and rain.

My husband and I have been here for over a month now and have nothing but great things to say about Cape Kennedy RV park. Daphne and the rest of the staff, actually everyone we've met here has been nothing but helpful, kind and informative, which we appreciate coming from across the country and knowing nothing about the area. The grounds are clean and well maintained. The store, and laundry facilities along with the mail room and shower houses are also clean, and we'll maintained. And the pool! The pool is the most perfect temperature I have ever experienced swimming in! It's a nice, peaceful, perfectly located, clean and quiet place to spend time. Thank you so much, to the staff for being so welcoming.

This campground has recently severed ties with KOA. I found the staff to be more interested in their Terms & Conditions and Liability Waivers than in customer service. The staff was cordial at best. I have stayed at this campground in the past and believe that the facilities have deteriorated under the current ownership. I had to share hookups with the campsite next to me. Apparently, there were power fluctuations caused either by line power or the camper connected on the common breaker box. Also, there was no trash pickup. Buyer beware.

Old Very worn shabby facility. Started off getting there someone in our spot that had to be moved (Old Purple and White School bus) once they moved to a new spot, they didn't clean the spot so it was covered in dirt, luckily after talking to the Mgr. someone came over and cleaned it best they could. We were shown on the map we had the whole slip 110 & 111 on the map are long pull in spots, but they are not, 111 had broken concrete so they don't even use it, (girl on the walkie talkie announced that over the radio) but they put us there! The reason Given why 111 isn't used is under the broken concrete in the back is plumbing pipes that if you would drive through as intended it would break all the plumbing pipes. Roads in the camp are narrow, asphalt is broken and uneven. They said we had a "Deluxe" spot, not "Deluxe" Compared to other LOA's we have stayed at. Pool was hazy and green tint the first 2 days, then the haze got better, but the rest of the time it was still greenish. The buildings are in need or repair, the office has rotten wood all over it, broken balusters on the upper deck. One of the facility managers said that KOA had just been through there in the last few weeks to evaluate them on being up to KOA standards. If this facility is up to KOA Standards I would love to know what those standards are!! Best thing I can say is if you need a place close to I-95 the location is good with a Love's across the street.

We are from NY and enjoying Florida for the winter. Campsite didn’t have best reviews but we gambled on it for a month. The campground is being redone and we got the new section. It’s very nice and ended up staying for another month. Very centrally located to Orlando, Cocoa beach and Dayton. The long term manager was super helpful in every way. They are continuing to remodel park with new lots and amenities. Strongly recommend, just request new sections.

Only value is an overnight stop in your journey. We were booked three days, only stayed two. Sites not maintained, roads/paths not kept blown clean, trash cans throughout were full and not emptied, squirrel population overrun, bathhouses are old, but could be maintained better. Soap dispenser and paper towel holders laying on the counter, reservation made 8 months ago and we were moved separately ( buddy traveling) , and then moved to a dirt site, when paved sites were open during our stay. Camp store doesn’t open until 10:30am. Overgrown and muddy on quite a few sites as well.

Let's not pretend this is a 5 star resort, and I'll rate it reasonably. This was my first KOA experience, and I can't compare it to others, but for the price, it was nice. My family wanted to go camping and I'm not a tent kind of girl so we thought we would try KOA cabins. First our cabin was clean, very clean. It smelled fresh, was dust and durt free, and my biggest worry, it was absent of any bugs. No roaches, bed bugs, we did find any spiders, and it kept the mosquitos off of me all night. The bathrooms were clean but needed a refresh from age. There were hard water marks, rust, and a faulty stall door but smelled nice and was nothing that made us run out. The staff was lovely and the lots were quiet. It s next to an interstate and a busy road. This wasn't overly noisy and did make for easy access, but some noise did travel through, including the very loud and very cool shuttle launch. There was little for kids to do, I had hoped for a jump pillow because it was too cold for the pool, but the water looked clean and clear for those braver than us. I did hear it's under new ownership, and they clearly are working to overhaul some of the older cabins as workers were like busy little beavers in and out of a few this morning. Overall, it was exactly what I expected for a cheap cabin at a KOA and was way better than a tent.
