Comfortable cozy cabins with a lake view! Love to stay at Trace - it's a home away from home with fishing, campfires and nature walks. Especially love the screened back patio for sunsets and morning coffee.

The setting is beautiful and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The roads have a lot of potholes, trash cans are few and far between and fire pits unmaintained. Some sections have people living there full time in ramshackle RVs. But the place is beautiful.

We had a Wonderful experience there! We had Fully stocked bathroom, bedrooms and kitchen with Everything we needed. (brought our food of course).I was amazed that we had our own little peir to fish off of! Checking in and out was Super easy. All of the staff were Very Friendly and Polite. Our cabin was just like a home with a beautiful view of the lake. The boat landings are Super close! The ducks were fun creatures to watch. Nobody bothered us at All! It was so easy to check In and out! Didn't even have to get out of our vehicle. The place is clean, safe, and Well kept!

We stayed three-nights in a full-service RV site on the lake. We really enjoyed this park - it’s well maintained (except the roads - they’re really rutted and difficult to drive) and the facilities and park itself are great. We lost a couple of dollars in the washing machine, so gave it up and went to town to do laundry, so can’t recommend you do laundry at the park unless they’ve modernized the machines. Beautiful park - lots of land and amenities - lots of families with kids. Can highly recommend.

Very quite nice view of the lake. Full hook up sites. Go slow with camper road is very rough in the park. If pulling are driving a RV, sure to come in by West Main St. Other way is not recommended.

Roads in the park are beyond bad. Massive holes everywhere that you can't avoid. If pulling a camper as I was, 5-10 mph is the limit you can go. Sites are outdated and un maintained. Did not see a single staff member the entire week we were there. Lake was beautiful, but not enough to bring me back. They also had a burn ban in effect even though the previous week it had rained all week, so no camp fires.

Skoolie friendly! I stayed at site 121 (the equestrian area) for the entire month of April. This site is fairly far from the restrooms which was an inconvenience for me. It’s very nice and quiet back there, and pretty dark too. Through the trees you can see the water. There’s a nice little dock/fishing area within walking distance. Lots of nice nature experiences! I didn’t use the sewage, but the water and electric hook ups worked great for me. I loved the concrete patio area. The picnic table is wood with metal supports, and is chained to the ground. There’s a nice fire pit and grill as well. Most of the people staying back there are long term, and everyone seemed nice and respectful. A camp host also stays back there. The bathroom shower was amazing (very large, handheld shower head with various settings, and hooks and spaces to sit things down without them getting wet.) I believe there is AC/heating in there, but there were some weird issues with lights. I guess they are on a timer because they wouldn’t come on a certain times of the day/night. There was tons of insects and spiders and crickets with black worms in there, but they cleaned it fairly often. It has 2 toilets and one sink with a mirror. The site is fairly private as well, and I saw a deer family very often as well as other critters like raccoons on my patio. Definitely recommend this area of the park! The month long stay in April was expensive in my opinion though as it was $676. Also the road through the park is terrible with tons of pot holes.

Made a last minute reservation and ended up arriving past closing, 5pm. Able to hookup my 30amp power and enjoy the cold weather of the night. Woke up with beautiful view and friendly ducks 😁 Showers/bathrooms very clean and stocked Did not use laundry facilities but the area looked clean Kids were running around, fishing, playing near the open lake. I will be back to explore more of the park.

We rented a 2 bedroom cabin (#2) for an overnight birthday celebration for our 12 year old and 3 friends. The cabin beautifully accommodated the 6 of us, and was more updated than the photos showed on the website. The panaramic views are stunning, and the park was lovely. We will definitely stay again in the near future.
