Fantastic experience... Left our site daily to travel to KU Hospital and our sense of a secure facility to come back to created 1 less task on our mind. Just like going home to rest reset and get back on task...thank you!

We had a nice size pull through, but it's tight to get to with cars parked next to road. Nice pool, dog park. Bathrooms were clean. Some sites are smaller. Friendly staff. I had to laugh at the house doors for shower and bathroom stalls, but hey, it works.

Trailside is a handy location for Kansas City activities. The restrooms and showers are nice, and cleaned regularly. The workers here are cheerful, friendly, and always helpful! If we visit Kansas City again, this is where we will stay!

I am giving 5 stars because I see so many unfair reviews of this campground. It is older and the spots are close and it is close to the highway. The service is great. It is clean and they have people close by that can clean your RV. I found it handy as a layover on my trip.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice large trees and I was able to fill up my propane tank.

This was an overnight quick stop on our way thru the area. Everything was handled professionally and friendly from call to make reservation thru checkout. Facilities were super clean and well organized. Park was very quiet even though it was close to the road . Would definitely stay there again if in area.

My husband and I stopped overnight as we traveled through town. We have a 44’ camper. We reserved site #14 online which stated would accommodate our camper. Even though the length of the site was as stated, it was not ideal. The site was not level, so much so that our camper could not be leveled because of the difference in incline from front to back. Just a heads up if you have a long camper like ours. Customer service was great and the check in and out process was simple. The campground is right next to the interstate, so expect traffic noise for sure.

Trailside RV Park was clean but crowded, small spaces, great as a stop over. Lady at check-in was nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. Bathroom was modern and clean. Didn't use the laundry, but I'm glad it was available. They were full when we visited so I was glad we made reservations. It is close to KC off I70 and easy to get to I35 and home. We would stay at Trailside again. Thanks!

Checking in was probably the best service I have ever experienced and it was after hours - she texted me and even put out a cone at our campsite to help us find it. My biggest complaints are that our campsite had no fire pit and no picnic table, the sites were very very close together - I could almost touch my neighbors from our camper, the sewer hookups were up hill and that made things very challenging. We actually left as soon as we could and did call the office to provide the above feedback and to request a refund for the second night. They did offer to move us; however, none of their campsites have fire pits and all of the hookups we saw were up hill and there was little space between campsites. Their policy is no refunds. Sounds like they are still working on enhancements and would recommend other travelers skip this one until their enhancements are done.

We’ve primarily been here for around 2 months and love it! The staff is fantastic and they have been super accommodating with us needing to extend our stay a few times. I highly recommend this place and so glad we found it. We hope to be back this summer to experience the place during the warmer weather months as well.
