We had an amazing seasonal stay! It was our first year at Red’s. The owners are on-site and are so attentive & accommodating and are great people! They keep the facilities pristine and the landscaping is beautiful. Located right on the Erie Canal - super close to the canal path. The activities they have planned are awesome! Loved the Pub and live music! Looking forward to another seasonal stay in 2026.

My husband and I just spent a weekend here and it was the best camping experience we have had this year. Everyone from staff to other campers were so friendly and welcoming. Kari- the manager of the resort is amazing and makes sure things are right and jumps at the opportunity to help with questions. The owners are down to earth friendly people. The bathrooms are amazing, not what you expect for a campground. Highly recommend this campground. Thank you Red’s for a perfect weekend! We’ll be back as we know there’s so much more to explore that we didn’t get to this trip.

Hands down this is the BEST RV resort out there. The scenery is breathtaking. The staff is warm and welcoming. They make you feel like part of the family. There are countless activities to partake in. My kids loved fishing off the dock, playing in the arcade, and swimming in the pool. We were so sad we had to leave this beautiful park! I would recommend Red’s to everyone; you won’t be disappointed!

I stayed there for nursing contract and had a great experience. The people we kind and respectful. Great place to take the dogs for a hike. Pool was refreshing. Service was great with my 101 questions for them. It really felt like a home away from home.

This is by far one of the most quiet friendly and peaceful campground I've ever been. The only problem is, that is not open all year around! But is perfect place to stay during season. No annoying neighbors, no loud music, just peace!

I had occasion to rent one of the cabins, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The bed was VERY comfortable as were the recliners. There was a mini fridge and a microwave, much as one would find in a hotel room of comparable price. No AC, but it was a single large room, and between the ceiling fan and a box fan in the window it stayed quite comfortable. No AC and a rather small TV merely engendered me to explore the hiking trails and grounds. The trails are very well maintained and marked, and the views of the canal are great. There are a couple covered benches (granted, in need of some attention) and a gazebo that are excellent places to relax and watch the canal do it's thing. Yes, you can hear the trains going by (I've read other reviews) but they didn't bother me one iota. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, arcade, or visit the little bar on site, but all looked well kept and the bar seemed a friendly gathering place. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

The folks that work here are just the nicest people there are. They offer bikes, kayaks, paddle boats, etc. at no extra charge. The name were excellent. The pig roast was so yummy and very reasonably priced. The sites are large and well maintained. I couldn't ask for more. And the pool is huge!

We had a massive unexpected change of plans for our NY boat trip and needed a place to camp last minute. Barb got us hooked up no problem with a pull through spot that worked great for our RV and the boat we were towing. Everyone was super friendly, both staff and other campers. The bathroom facilities were amazing, and the shower was great! We enjoyed getting dinner there the night we arrived. I'd highly recommend Red's to anyone, and we'd be happy to stay again if we were in the area. Great experience in what had been a frustrating situation for us.

We stayed her for a quick getaway and a nice ride on the Erie Canal. It was beautiful, definitely felt as if we were in the middle of nature. Our site was amazing! There was a band Friday night but we never heard it!! The canal ride was right over the bridge and we rode 15 miles out. Just perfect! Highly recommend this hidden gem!!

My husband and I sold our home but had 3 months that we needed to live in our RV. My husband had 3 months until retirement. We contacted Barb @ the campground and she was able to accommodate us for those 3 months. The date that we were scheduled to move into our camper changed 3 to 4 times and Barb was very flexible with our changes. She also gave us the choice of 3 or 4 different spots that we could locate ourselves. On two different occasions we needed a place to store a trailer of our belongings, and she also accommodated us with those requests also. The campground has a 3 mph speed limit so you don't have to worry about your dogs or your children being run down. There is a lovely pool, big playground, arcade building with arcade games, books, puzzles and movies. All of which can be borrowed. This is a nice clean quiet campground. Unless you are camping in a tent there is sewer, water and electric at every site.
