Twin Streams Campground

Overview

Twin Streams Campground offers a classic Pennsylvania camping experience tucked away in the scenic mountains of Tioga County. This family-owned destination provides a peaceful retreat for travelers seeking to disconnect from the bustle of daily life while staying within reach of major natural landmarks. The park is defined by its serene creek-side setting, where the sounds of flowing water create a relaxing atmosphere for any length of stay. Whether you are arriving in a large motorhome or a small travel trailer, the park balances rustic charm with the essential comforts needed for a successful outdoor getaway.

Location & Surroundings

Situated in the heart of Morris, the campground serves as a gateway to the breathtaking Pennsylvania Grand Canyon region. The surrounding landscape is characterized by dense forests, rolling hills, and the gentle waters of Babb Creek, which runs directly alongside the property. Its location is ideal for those who appreciate mountain air and lush greenery without the crowds found in more commercialized tourist hubs. The environment encourages a slower pace of life, making it a favorite for those looking to immerse themselves in the Northern Tier's natural beauty while remaining accessible from major regional routes.

Amenities & Park Features

The campground is designed to accommodate a variety of rigs with features like full-hookup sites including water, sewer, and electric services. For convenience, travelers have access to clean bathhouses and laundry facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay even during longer trips. Notable amenities include:

  • A well-stocked camp store offering ice, firewood, and essentials.
  • Recreational spaces including a playground and a group pavilion.
  • Easy access to Babb Creek for relaxing by the water.

Many sites are positioned to provide views of the water, allowing guests to relax under mature shade trees while enjoying the park's quiet, well-maintained infrastructure and friendly atmosphere.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Adventure is just a short drive away, with the famous Pine Creek Rail Trail offering miles of world-class hiking and biking opportunities through the gorge. Nature enthusiasts often visit Leonard Harrison State Park or Colton Point State Park to witness the dramatic vistas of the canyon from above. For a change of pace, the nearby town of Wellsboro offers a historic downtown area with gas-lit streets and local boutiques. Anglers will appreciate the proximity to prime trout fishing spots, while photographers will find endless inspiration in the rugged terrain and diverse wildlife that define this corner of the state.

Who This Park Is Best For

This campground is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and families who prioritize natural surroundings over high-energy resort activities. It is a perfect match for retirees seeking a quiet home base while exploring the state parks and those who enjoy traditional recreation like fishing and hiking. Because of its layout and proximity to the rail trail, it is especially well-suited for cyclists and hikers looking for a comfortable place to rest after a day on the trails. We stayed at this beautiful campground nestled in the Mountains of PA. What a nice, well kept place! The sites were clean, the facilities were clean and well maintained! The staff was pleasant and awesome. There are many year-round campers in the park and I can see why they like it here. The park's WiFi had a very strong signal and I tested their WiFi speed and got 65-70 Mbs!!!!! Well Done A+!! Highly Recommend this campground!

Very nice - good bath house and laundry room, well stocked camp store, very friendly staff, and well kept grounds. Even the seasonal sites were neat and clean. Great scenic roads all around it, good location!

Amazing little vacation spot. Buy food before you come the small shop they have here is rather expensive. Wood is 8 dollars for a small bundle. We stayed in a small pet friendly cabin for 120 a night. There is a play ground for kids. Lots of space for walks or biking. I highly recommend checking out Sand Run Falls, especially in the summer time. There is a large swimming hole.

We rented a cabin in the campground. It was small but sufficient and pet-friendly. The campground is a great place to walk and overlooks 2 streams. The campers are friendly. Mostly, the location is perfect for its proximity to PA Grand Canyon.

We camped here one night on our way to another vacation spot. The campground was so quiet, perfect for tenting! There was hardly anyone else around! It’s also kept up very well.👍🏼 definitely a great camping experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was here mid-Sept 2021. My 1st impression was that it was very outdated.....BUT....it was very clean! We had a nice standard campsite with full hook up. Staff was friendly.  No complaints!

Great little family run campground in beautiful area. Close enough to Wellsboro and PA Grand Canyon if you plan on visiting there. Stayed here in my 36 foot motorhome/Jeep toad. Thanks for a great stay!
