To say the VERY LEAST this was the worst and lowest level of service a business like this could provide!! Staff slow, incompetent, and certainly not trained on appropriate CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Customers waiting for over an HOUR for a purchase transaction, with no care or consideration from the staff on duty!! Do NOT use this location if you can avoid it!!

Went to pick up my truck and was told they double booked it. And the person they doubled booked it with didn’t even show up for her scheduled time, yet I still couldn’t take it. Even though they told the customer next to me that his truck was gone because he didn’t show up on time. Now I’m taking a Lyft for a second time just to get to another store.

I never leave reviews but this is literally the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Paid for a hitch installation and it never happened, I never received a single update about my order and when I contacted them I was treated with complete disregard. Not sure how these guys stay in business.

If you can use any other UHaul Facility or rent from another company, I highly recommend it. My family is moving across the country and we were in dire need of a cargo trailer to take out belongings. Two weeks before, my partner made a reservation to have a hitch installed and rent a cargo trailer the day before we are set to leave. We take his SUV to this location only to be told they do not have the part because they never ordered it. Mind you, they had a two week notice. The man at the desk was of no help to us, so I called customer support. I waited twenty minutes on hold for someone to answer and then just leave the phone. So, after talking and waiting for five minutes to see if she would come back (she did not) I hung up and my partner went back to this location. So, then we either have to leave a day late so they can overnight the part needed for the hitch (lose the Air BNB’s we rented with no refund and have no where to stay the next night because we were supposed to hand out keys in for our apartment) or rent a 15’ UHaul Truck with a tow for the SUV. We decided to rent the truck and tow. Roughly two hours later, my partner informs me that they have wasted his time and gas sending him to other UHaul locations, just for him to end up back at this one. They give him the truck keys and tell him to go. They refuse to help him get his SUV onto the tow, so he calls me. As soon as I get there, he has his car up on the tow ready to go, but then this lady comes out telling him he has stop because he has done it wrong. After witnessing probably the worst attitude I have ever seen in customer service from this lady (I’m talking about the larger, roughly 30, African American woman) we can finally go. Now, we’re in Kansas stuck at a truck stop because the tire on the UHaul was so old and worn out it split in half! This could have been prevented if the staff was not too lazy and miserable to do the minimum of CHANGING THE TIRES. This location really puts the “U” in UHaul, so please do not go.

To say they were grossly incompetent would be a kindness to them. I have never encountered a more inept, dysfunctional business. I attempted in vain to have a hitch installed on my vehicle. I made the appointment in plenty of time for when I needed it and I paid for it at that moment. A week before the appointment they called to reschedule me by an hour. I thought it would work, but it ended up not, so I called the next day to reschedule. I called every day in an attempt to reach them. I left multiple messages with U-Hauls company help line since no one would answer at the store. No one ever called me back, but I did learn that they had rescheduled my appointment without my consent or knowledge for a day I couldn't come in. Apparently this was a known issue with this store and I am not the first person who had this problem. I finally had to email their general manager who apologized and assured me that I could bring my vehicle in today to be worked on. So we gave it a shot despite my better judgement. My husband drove the 40 minutes to the store waited in line for thirty minutes to be told first that they couldn't do it and were too busy and understaffed, then to be told that they had time and plenty of staff, but they didn't know if they had the part which was supposed to be ordered for my car three weeks ago when I placed the order. Then they had the part and told him it would take two hours to install so he left it with them. Then I get a call and they don't have all the parts they need to install it. At this point we just asked for a refund. It was beyond ridiculous how much they messed up our order. If you need to use U-Haul for anything please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There are plenty of options in Louisville.
