I was at this location Saturday 10/22/22. I rented a truck and wasn’t sure where to return it. I wish I’d gotten the name of the young lady who just MADE MY DAY! She went above and beyond and reduced my stress and is truly an asset to U-Haul! Stopped in after going to two other storage location who didn’t want my business! I needed to unload the truck and return it. She (the wonderful young lady) got the truck drop off location changed to this location and got me set up with storage. After going to another storage facility that simply did NOT want my business, and yet another that wanted me to buy a lock for their weird set up (that I refused to do b/c I have 3 locks that will work) I was getting frustrated and was coming up on time to return the truck. She made it easy to get the truck returned and got me a clean, nice storage space. She walked me through what needed to be done and how to get into and out of my storage. She made my move to PDX better. I got a call a little later from I think the manager who extended my truck return time so I’d have a few more hours to get it there w/o an extra charge. Both ladies are an asset to U-haul. Certainly go by and check this location out of you need storage and truck rental. Great job ladies, and THANK YOU!!

Have had only three interactions here with the staff and all left me pulling out my hair. Expect to wait- a long time- and hear "we're short on staff" despite seeing three staff members around doing usually nothing while no one is at the front desk. Very unpleasant check in and out process. It's normal to not get anything but incompetence here. This most recent experience had me walking over glass to get in through the main door as the employee "didn't know his own strength" and shattered somehow an automatic door. How? No clue, but this is just typical for this place. People wre here working a 9-5 and man does it show with the complete lack of respect and communication.

Good luck getting anyone at the facility to answer the phone. It always gets routed to corporate, and messages/requests are either not relayed to this facility or are simply ignored. Phones ringing in the background when standing in line, nobody makes a move to answer them. The guy who moves the U-boxes is friendly and helpful, but they seem to be short staffed and it does not always happen at the requested time, regardless of how much notice you give for the placement. Storage facility is very large. There is only one ramp available, so if you have large/heavy items be prepared to lug them upstairs or park at the front of the storage entrance and walk through the entire building if you have a unit towards the end. 100% would not recommend.

The reason we are leaving a five star review is SOLELY due to a worker named Marcus. There was an issue with one of the taillights on a trailer I was picking up. His boss simply shrugged and said “Yeah, it’s not working.” Marcus was the one who took time to troubleshoot and look up information on his phone. If it weren’t for him, my family and I wouldn’t have been able to make our move. Thank you Marcus! Your efforts did not go unrecognized and helped our little family quite a bit!
