I had a hitch installed by them and my bumper and rear side panels was all scratched up. The bumper had to be snapped in place on the driver side. The taillight was scratched. It clearly shows they had no respect for their clients property. I spoke to somebody inside and they didn’t even apologize. Just gave me a pamphlet with a number to call. This car is less than 6 months old and kept in pristine condition.

I left my car parked at the uhaul location and came back to my car with it scratched. I’ve called uhaul every day for 30 days to resolve the issue and not once gotten a call back within normal business hours. The manager only calls back at 6am and never answers his phone when I attempt to contact him in return. I would think twice before using a company who claims to care about helping you move your belongings safely when they blatantly disregard the safety of their own premises. If roles were reversed, you can be sure they would be the first to contact me regarding the destruction of their property. Extremely disappointed at this UHaul location and will never use their services again.

The customer service never answers the phone and you have to go in person if you have a question! The old guy behind the counter is rude and unprofessional. He intentionally gives wrong information to make you pay more. I had a Ubox delivered to their location. When I went there to pick it up the old guy behind the counter told me that my Ubox is not at their location. When I told him I have spoken with the central customer service and they told me they have delivered my Ubox at their location he started yelling at me! Then he told me I have to use their delivery service which costs a lot plus a chance of my Ubox being towed, or I have to wait for more than a week to pick it up myself. I left and called the central customer service. They arranged a self-pick-up in 5 minutes for the next day!

I want to share my experience of renting a truck from U-Haul, which is located on the 16 Medford/Somerville road. We booked a truck a week in advance and were waiting for our moving day. We have a two bedroom apartment and so we reserved a truckload of 20 ft. On the day of the move, we arrived early to pick up the truck, but they told us that your truck was not there, the previous client did not bring it. We were simply told: "Sorry guys, have a nice day." All our plans for the whole week were thwarted. I think this is the wrong way to do business with a big service provider like U-Haul. Thank you for your attention!!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE!! Lied and manipulated me into taking a faulty trailer across the country as a single young women. What gets me is the INTENTIONAL deception by both the U-Haul staff and their general manager Bob Corbeil. I showed up alone (F27) to pick up my U-Haul trailer. They “helped” me set it up and they “checked” the lights on the trailer. I left the facility, packed the trailer, and drove across the country. About 5 hrs into the drive a Good Samaritan flagged me down to tell me that my lights weren’t working. I called uhaul and had to stop driving to stay at a trucker motel alone in Appalachia (pretty scary). Stayed up til 1am outside the truck stop alone waiting for the tow truck. The tow truck showed up and told me that the lights weren’t wired so they NEVER could have been functioning. Had to spend 5 hrs the next day at a UHaul to get the entire truck reworked. Was told by both the tow truck and the uhaul driver repeatedly how much immediate danger I was put in by the employees of this facility by giving me a trailer that never could have had working lights. I opened a ticket for a refund and Bob sent me an email saying he’d only give me a 50% refund because he “has a video” of the lights working…. Interesting considering the wiring was never completed in the trailer… Honestly can’t believe how reckless and horrible these people are!! Don’t believe anything they tell you and DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!
