One phone call to make an inquiry on inside storage options was handled by the most unhelpful person. No thank you.

I called to ask a few questions and right off the bat the lady did not sound too happy to answer my call. Then continued to to laugh at me when I asked to get pricing on storage. Then when I told her what I needed she said outside storage only. Which on the website it specifically shows indoor storage. Just from the phone call I will never bring any of my business to this place. Very unprofessional!

Even though I didn't end up renting from them this place is great. Pat is so nice and will go out of her way for you. Really great service with the customer in mind. Spaces are set up well and it had large file ways. Reasonably priced and plenty of security cameras. It's clean and they are constantly upgrading their facilities. Very impressed. The only reason I didn't rent was due to proximity, buts it's not far very close and easy to get to from VanDyke.

Have there been any complaints of theft? A: With the help of our elaborate security system, we pride ourselves in being one of the area's only storage facilities with zero thefts. In fact, some local police officers are customers and will often visit at all hours of the day. I guess there is always time for a first complaint - Sometime between the end of September and the beginning of November – someone crawled underneath my motorhome and sawed off the catalytic convertors from the exhaust system. They also did the same thing to the motorhome parked next to mine. If you have a vehicle parked at the storage yard, you may want to verify that your exhaust system is still intact. I filed a police report with the Shelby Township police department, and they will be investigating further. I visited the office and told the person inside. She informed me that there isn’t anything that they will do, since I don’t know when the issue occurred. They only look at the backup security camera footage if someone informs them within a 2 week time period, due to how they back up their system. I was told, that I should look into filing a claim with my insurance company. Been storing with them for over 2 years - no problems until now. Not sure who monitors the gate, but people can tailgate each other in pretty easily. The "walk in" gate at the rear outside storage area is easily accessible - because it is never locked. When do the security tapes get reviewed?? I shouldn't be the one informing you, that you had a problem. Not a happy camper about this. I hope changes are made, and security processes are improved.

I wanted to rate it a 4 or 5, because I really do like the place... and the staff is AWESOME, However I did have a fairly severe problem. THERE WAS A TON of mice in the units... I had 2 units there for a LONG time, almost all of contents of one of them had to be thrown away due to mouse damage... (Mouse Feces and I'm assuming Urine) Even though I put traps and repellents in them... Didn't really help. And NO I did not have any food of any kind in the unit. It was kind of a bummer. I was afraid to look in half the boxes because they had holes chewed in them, and some ended up having dead mice in them... Bummer...
