Employees are rude, speeding around on their little carts just to give you a hard time. The freeway is extremely noisy, and it’s really too bad. It’s a nice place, but that’s about it. There’s no beach access, and the rules and prices are ridiculous. Just pick another park there are plenty of places directly on the beach with friendly service and cheaper prices.

Ventura Beach RV Resort has become one of my absolute favorite places to stay. As the owner of Seaward Brewing, I’m constantly looking for spaces that inspire creativity, offer comfort, and allow me to recharge — and this resort delivers every single time. From the moment you arrive, you can feel how much pride the team takes in keeping the property clean, welcoming, and truly guest-focused. The sites are well-maintained, the amenities are convenient, and the location is unbeatable — peaceful, beautiful, and just steps from everything Ventura has to offer. What I value most is the genuine hospitality. Every stay feels personal. The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure we’re comfortable and enjoying our time. As someone who runs a business built on community, I really appreciate that same energy here. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, a place to unwind between workweeks, or just a well-run resort that treats you like family — Ventura Beach RV Resort is the spot. Highly recommended.” — Monique, Seaward Brewing

It is a beautiful RV Park and very well maintained. Amazing concrete pads, good size and nice healthy grass at each site. We knew going in that there would be a pretty good amount of road noise and we were not wrong. What we did not know is if you happen to book on a holiday weekend (we spent 3 nights during Veterans Day weekend)or literally anytime a group books multiple sites, they pretty much have carte blanche to make as much noise as they want. That includes playing music at concert levels until 1:00 AM and shouting F bombs at each other. We like a good time as much as anybody, but common decency and courtesy calls for taking the noise level down at say 10:00. Not so here, we asked if there is a quiet time and were told sort of but if a group wants to party we kind of just let them. We were two sites away from the main party location and believe me sleep was not an option, and the policies of the park are no refunds for any reason. I can say with certainty that we won't be booking here again. Two stars for the beautiful amenities and no more for the lack of sleep. Ventura is a really great town even when you are forced into zombie mode when trying to enjoy it. So, with all that said book at your own tolerance levels.

Summary: Not a "beach resort", Nice campground, too expensive, NO REFUNDS for cancellations. -Its called "Ventura Beach RV Resort" because its in Ventura Beach, not because its on the beach. The beach is a long walk or bike ride to the other side of HWY 1/101. -It is in fact nice campground...concrete pads full hooks, easy in/out, quiet at night, and secure. There's also full amenities (pool, jacuzzi, laundry,...) That said... -It is expensive, overpriced IMO. There's a lot less expensive places to park a camper. Now, were it not for the following factor, I would have rated the park higher: NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS, regardless of lead time. I made a reservation almost two weeks before check-in, then learned our team mates were staying elsewhere. I called back within hours of making the reservation and was told I would only get a credit for the stay to be used within six months. With no chance of returning in that window, we just sucked it up. This is a short sighted policy that says "I have your payment and don't care about customer relationships." Fair enough.

I don’t know how or why this place had low ratings! The staff is always incredibly polite, we have met the owner and he is very nice as well. The resort is secure and kids have a blast! It’s a little pricy but they have great specials to make up for it. We always leave wanting to have been able to stay longer.

First-time customer traveling in a 45-ft Class A. I would not recommend this park for larger Class A coaches (40 ft+) unless you don’t mind scratches. Trees are not trimmed up, and when combined with cars parked on the roads, you’ll often end up hugging one side and scraping branches down your rig. The park is also extremely strict, with rules that seem more about making money than hospitality. Even family members stopping by for a few minutes have to check in and pay for a pass. I understand the need for check-in, but charging for a quick visit or drop-off feels excessive. If you have friends or relatives in the area who might want to swing by, this is not the place to stay. For the price, the restrictions are disappointing. On top of that, the freeway noise is constant, so it’s not exactly a peaceful stay. That said, there are positives: • The landscaping is beautiful. • The park is very clean. • Concrete parking pads are a nice touch. • Extra water hookups at the site are convenient. Overall, while it’s a clean and well-kept park with nice features, the strict rules, freeway noise, and lack of attention to tree trimming make it a poor choice for big rigs.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 — Way Better Than the Reviews Say! Hidden Gem! I honestly have no idea why Ventura RV Park has a low score on Google — it makes zero sense. This place is beautiful. Everything here has clearly been remodeled and upgraded — the grounds are clean, the facilities feel almost brand new, and the whole vibe is super upscale. It honestly feels more like a boutique RV resort than a typical RV park. The staff? Incredibly welcoming and friendly. From the moment we checked in, we felt right at home. The attention to detail is next-level — from the landscaping to the layout to how peaceful and well-run everything is. You can tell the people running this place actually care. If you’re scrolling through reviews wondering whether to book — trust me, this is a solid 4.95 stars out of 5 kind of place. If it had 1,000 real reviews from people who’ve actually been here, it would easily reflect that. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be coming back.

2025, Staying during Memorial Weekend. Overall the RV Resort was very nice. They really make an effort to create a family environment and have family activities for you to enjoy while camping. Sites are easy in and out, and very clean. The rates are a bit high considering you don’t have a beach view. But our camping experience was worth the price. We loved that we could pick up some new Trump merchandise while browsing in the store. My biggest negatives are the Freeway noise and difficulty navigating our slides around the trees and having room to park our truck. Definitely worth giving the resort a try!

First time staying here and they gave away our reservation that was made a month in advance. We even paid extra to reserve a specific spot. They apologized but couldn’t explain what happened. If you make a reservation you might want to check it daily to make sure you’re not bumped like we were. The facilities are nice and well kept, I guess I just have a bad taste in my mouth.

Great for families.... people without kids, not so much. Great place for people with kids where parents get to hang out at their campsite and party while their kids run amok, pestering everyone else except their own parents. Had kids riding their bikes directly THROUGH our campsite all day and night. The resort itself and staff are great, its the parents who don't teach their kids about things like campground etiquette, following rules and just being respectful of other's space. The sign right by the spa clearly states 18 & over and yet it was overflowing with very young kids whose parents just don't care. Giving only 3 out of 5 stars for the following reasons: 1. some of the trees need trimming to avoid possible damage to RV roof 2. for the number of guests this place can hold, it does not have the amenities (specifically pool & spa) to reasonably accommodate that number of people. I can't image how packed the pool must be in the summer. 3. its very expensive ($160 - $220/night) If you don't have kids and especially if you have pets, don't expect a relaxing weekend. I would definitely visit again, just definitely NOT on a weekend.
