I had a wonderful experience with Venture Out RV & Boat Storage. I needed a place to park my RV that I felt was safe. This is the place! I love the security here and also when you need to enter...you can do it right from your phone which is great if the weather isn't good. The folks here are very accommodating and work with you to make sure you're happy. I highly recommend Venture Out RV & Boat Storage to keep your toys safe!

We have had a unit here since 2017. Despite our unit catching fire due to another patrons negligence, and having to pay out of pocket for the damages to our boat, we stayed with Venture Out because the owners were kind/helpful and the facility was well maintained. Unfortunately, the price of our unit has increased over 70% since we first signed a contract, with the bulk of that increase occurring immediately after the change of ownership. When we called to inquire about the increase we were told that it was for the amenities (nothing new has been added). We were also told that the facility had a consulting company assess the property to determine a price that was closer to market value. Quite frankly, I'd like to know what market they were comparing to because the price of a comparable unit for this area ranges from $78-$130. Additionally, there was no indication of when the next increase could be expected (this is the second increase for 2022) and no hope for a price negotiation; as we were told there are no discounts for state/government employees and any further negotiation would have to be done through Pamela who conveniently wasn't available. After informing Venture Out that we would be moving on to a new unit, we were told that we are actually getting a good deal because we were grandfathered in, however new tenants will be paying an additional $100 to the increase that current tenants had just received. WHAT A JOKE. If you enjoy being robbed by greedy people who lack customer service, this is the place for you!

Originally gave this location a 5 Star rating when I became a customer in 2018. It was family owned and the owners were some of the nicest and most helpful business owners I'd encountered. In August, 2022 it was sold to a business that owns several storage facilities across Oklahoma and other states. Immediately got a 45% increase in monthly rental rates, which just seems absurd even considering the current rate of inflation. I'm now paying more for one of my units than two of my units combined under the original owners. The only reason I'm not giving this place one star is that so far, the on-site staff have been friendly and helpful. The facility is still nice and clean as well. However, I no longer feel that this is a 5 star establishment and that is the reason I am editing my original review.

The Oklahoma owners we're truly wonderful. Now it's changed ownership to an investment company out of Arizonia I was told. I've received two e-mails, one with all the rates they can charge at their descretion, and the second being a very substantial increase of over 40%. That's hardly inflation. I could receive no assurance from the front desk when the next increase might occur. They changed their website payment process in which I had been set up for automatic deduction. Of course that failed with the takeover so I was locked out over Labor Day. I left a voicemail but was never responed too. Beware, it's not the company it was before. Not Oklahoma owned, not Oklahoma oriented. PS, I've been a loyal customer since 2018, and would always recommend in the past. Now, I'm not confident anymore. Be cautious.
