I stayed at Verde River RV Resort & Cottages room “614” and overall had a good experience. The property was clean, quiet, and well-kept, which made the stay feel comfortable and relaxing. The atmosphere was peaceful, and it was nice to be somewhere that felt calm and maintained. The staff was polite and professional, and check-in/check-out felt smooth. I appreciated that the grounds looked taken care of and that the overall environment felt welcoming. What stood out most was the peaceful setting. It made for a nice stay whether you are looking to relax for a night or stay a little longer. The resort has a simple, comfortable feel to it that makes it easy to enjoy your time there. Overall, I would recommend Verde River RV Resort & Cottages to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay. I would stay there again.

I recently stayed in a cabin long term at Verde River RV Park and Resort. It is a fabulous facility located directly on the Verde River. In my opinion, it is the nicest RV park in the Camp Verde area considering its natural beauty, amazing amenities, spectacular mountain views, and great service. In a sense the park is a destination resort not just an RV park. It is a truly unique park-like setting---with lots of large and mature shade trees, gorgeous 100-foot-tall Ponderosa pines, well maintained grassy areas and beautiful landscaping. The cabins have beautiful knotty pine interiors and are fully furnished including all the cookware you will possibly need. The prices for the cabins are very reasonable---they offer significant weekly and monthly discounts for longer term tenants. The park is exceptionally well managed and cared for. The park manager, Ellen, is a kind and caring person who stays on top of any issues and really cares about her customers. She enforces the rules (like dog leash requirements) so that the park is a quiet and enjoyable place for everyone without being heavy handed, using good discretion and judgment in applying the rules so that everyone can still have fun. The park’s many interior roads provide wonderful walking trails and biking trails amongst the trees and alongside the river. The amenities at the park are simply amazing. There are constant activities at the clubhouse, pool, and recreation building if you want to participate, including a craft fair once a month on Saturday morning that is attended by people as far away as Prescott. They often have karaoke at the pool offering food and beverages, and feature holiday brunches, lunches, and dinners. Every Saturday night they serve a delicious dinner for prices much cheaper than you will pay in a restaurant. Every Sunday morning, they serve scrumptious biscuits and gravy or French toast. The pool is almost Olympic size and is kept meticulously clean. Most of all, I was impressed with the quality of the employees---from the manager Ellen and the excellent front desk manager Tariina, to maintenance staff to cabin attendants. I got to know many of them by name (wonderful cabin attendants Jessica and Heather, great maintenance staff including Greg, Ronnie, and Craig) and others I apologize for not mentioning. I found the staff to be exceptionally professional, polite, and kind. I felt like they were family. It's one of the best collective staff I've ever seen at any resort. I would highly recommend this RV park and resort for short or long term stays if you're looking for a quiet, quality, natural experience with lots of amenities and fun available if you want to take part.

Stayed a couple times over the summer and enjoyed it so much we decided to go full time RVers. There isn't a better rv park anywhere near here. So many amenities and super great staff, makes it feel like we're on vacation every day. Our adult children have stayed in the cabins and they were very comfortable and affordable. Very highly recommend Verde Valley RV Resort and Cottages for any stay.

We are having a great time here. We are in our RV and our space is perfect for us with huge shade trees. We have enjoyed walking our dogs with a lot of dog stations for bags and trash cans. The laundry rooms are clean and affordable. We have enjoyed a free waffle and coffee breakfast and are looking forward to the bbq get together tomorrow. The heated pool and hot tub are perfect to end our day. The Fall/Halloween decorations are the best. The staff and people staying here are kind a d friendly and make you feel welcome. We are considering coming here more often and staying longer. A+ for us.

Exceptional rv park. It's old and the staff is working always on improving. Cabins are clean very basic. Pet friendly Rarely able to make advance reservations but the staff always gets me.in on my crazy last minute needs. Updating uncomfortable beds...thy. Goat head weed in the grassy areas. Makes it hard to curb pets walk barefoot as thorns stick in feet soft soled flops. There doing better getting rid of the weed. Always exceptional go have a good time. Accommodate every size type rv. Enjoy karaoke events psychic dude kid things biscuits and gravy. Meet new people from everywhere

Just got back from a 5 night stay at this park. It is very beautiful and our pull thru was long but not very wide. We reserved an upcoming full month so we can leave our RV there and come up on the weekends to get away from the valley heat. Was not happy that they charged us $30 for that month for a 2nd dog as we have 2 small ones. Every RV park we have ever visited had no charge for a 2nd dog. When I asked why I was told it was for doggy bags, etc. I said this is greedy and was told "no it's not". I feel this is just nickel and diming a customer! Also like others have mentioned the stickers in the grass are everywhere but I understand these are from weeds and hard to keep up after. But the ants are everywhere. Many ant mounds anywhere you walk in the grass and at the RV spaces that should be taken care of by management but aren't. I realize no park is perfect but having such a beautiful location as this one I think a little more effort could be made to make it more enticing and it would keep negative reviews to a minimum.

Stayed here for a week in Mid April. First time here and very impressed. Back in site was deep and wide for our 39 ft Class A motorhome. Plenty of room for our tow dolly and car. Campgrounds are kept really clean by staff which are excellent and very helpful. Activities for both Adults and children. Large swimming pool with lots of seating and umbrellas for shade. Met many other RV'rs and had a fantastic time. On our list to Return Again.

We are new fans of this park. The people are really nice, the sites are level and large, it's away from freeway noise, there are shade trees and a beautiful pool. Our RV spot was great. Clean dog parks too. My brother rented a very clean and nice cabin. We will return.
