A nice clean park Friendly staff. Bathrooms are updated and clean. Loved being right on the river! Great prices. Nice place to do a color tour!

Nice little out of the way place, Friendly staff. But, if you're a tent camper be warned, bathrooms were locked from like 10pm-? Woke in the morning (7am) and I had to head to the nearest gas station, ( I was NOT Happy). Other than that, nice little spot.

It's not at all as good as it used to be. We've stayed here at least once a year for multiple days since 2020 and it has steadily gotten worse. The manager was great, super helpful and friendly, and the campground is nice. It's the town itself that has gotten so much worse. The one grocery store is now closed and there are more empty storefronts in town, including a burned out restaurant. Security issues in the park, including theft, closing the gate between camping sections to reduce traffic, and kids flipping picnic tables makes this our last trip to Marion. Price is the best reason to stay here. I just don't think staying in Marion is worth the savings. Until the town gets its act together and supports the campground management, it's only going to get worse.

Decent place, but a little on the noisy side due to the campground being right on one of the main highways going through town - lots of big rigs and Jake brakes, and loud vehicles. Bathrooms and showers are clean, and there is a playground for kids. There isn't much to do tourism-wise in the immediate area; Marion is a small, rural community, but if you're looking for a place to relax around the fire, it does the job. Affordable for RVs even with full hookup. Wi-fi is slow but usable. For whatever reason, my laptop could not connect to it, but my Roku TV could. If wi-fi is a must-have for you, plan on using your cell-phone hotspot just in case the wi-fi bogs down or you can't connect to it. They offer weekly and monthly rates as well that are affordable.

I work a haunted house here. Great scare for only $10. Must see

This place is wonderful! The campsites are close to the river that runs through town, which was beautiful. The bathrooms and showers were super clean and warm, easily the cleanest campground bathrooms I've ever been in. Not only is the campground great and inexpensive, but the management is top notch. I was greeted so warmly and the kind woman who set me up (I'm sorry I forget her name!) surprised me by paying for my dinner at the pizza shop. I stayed here as a stop along the way for a bikepacking trip, but I'll definitely be going again just for the experience. Thank you so much!!
