Many great memories at Wagon Train, meeting people from all over and sharing adventures. Clean park, level sites and plenty of room between the sites. Each season brought something spectacular, including the solar eclipse of 2024!

Awesome place to stay. We research places for hours sometimes, and we rely heavily on reviews to pick where we go and what we do. Then we hope for the best till we get where we are going. It was a 3 hour drive to get here, and for anyone pulling a travel trailer, you know the trip can be nerve-wracking at it best and you can only hope the spot you picked out is a good one. We were about halfway here when Gayle called us and let us know she had several sites open that we would probably like much better than the one we picked out. We had chosen a back in site in the back of the park, and while it was still a good site, the one she recommended was much better. My wife told her this was our first excursion with an rv, and she told us that if we needed help, her husband would be more than happy to help us set up if we needed it. The park was clean and peaceful, and the sites were well maintained. We couldn't have asked for anything better. We came to visit the first Monday trade days, and it only takes about 10 minutes to get there from here. We had an awesome stay, and I highly recommend Wagon Train to anyone looking for a place to set up for the event.

It was a long day of travel, Good Sam mapped me to Wagon Train Rv Park, I called ahead to make sure they had space, Gayle answered the phone in the middle of a football game with family, and that was the beginning of a very welcomed stay! The park is more than beautifully maintained, the sites are level, and flat rock! The shower house and laundry room are more than us full timers cld ever dream of!!! A beautiful pond, and all the sites that were occupied were well taken care of. The landscaping and trees, the decorations on the property, all perfect! 👌👌 Gayle and her husband Scott went out of their way to come to my site and introduce themselves, answer our questions and allow us to get to know them a little! The whole experience was waaaaaay more than I ever imagined, coming from Iowa, I knew they did they did things " bigger" in Texas, I had no idea the world was reffering to hospitality! Thank you so much for making this long couple of days of travel so welcoming! Gayle and Scott, you two found your calling! You are an asset to this beautiful slice of the map!

Polite staff and a clean park. Conveniently located on I-20. Excellent for quick overnight stops. No time to visit the area, but nice rolling hills.

This campground was a nice find. Easy access, spacious level sites, decent utilities with WiFi that is actually usable and groceries and essentials just 10 minutes away. Camp hosts were very pleasant and friendly. The gravel sites are well maintained between stays to ensure new campers arent pulling in to a rutted mess. Groundskeeping is very well done. I’d love to see it later in the spring and summer when all the planted flowers, crepe myrtles and rose bushes are in bloom. While its not a place with a lot of amenities, it offers a clean, comfortable, well functioning place with a pleasing aesthetic to stay. The pup loved it, too, since it had a wide open area up front where we could throw her ball. I’d give it five stars if it was situated further back from the interstate, as the highway noise is a detractor. A sound machine is a must for sleep.

We had been broken down with a flat tire, so we were getting in late. Mike made sure to give us very good directions to the park and to our site. The pull through sites are very large. It accomodated our 67’ with our tow. We did not use the facilities, but the sites are not crowded and very well maintained. They even have a fire pit area in the park. We will definitely stay again.

This park is a nice, clean park spaces are big neighbors were great.we stay only 2 weeks but paid for a month. Because there was no wifi. And I asked Rick the office manager if I could put up a antenna. So my wife would not be home with no TV. And Rick is a very Unprofessional office manager that said he could evict me over a antenna. They will charge you 5 dollars to read your meter which you would think that's what his employee's get paid for. It will cost you 25.00 each person to take a shower a month. They monitor the water 💧 usage office is never open.this place didn't even refund me a dime. I was out another 2 hundred to move my RV agian this park is a drama park. Rick talks about all the people in the park including us. I gave it a 1 star because I had to. I could go on and on about more but that place wasted enough of my time. So if you want a drama park this is the place👎👎👎👎👎👎

I can't say enough good things about this place! I stayed here for 2 months while working in the area and Karen and David were awesome the entire time. The place was always clean and organized. The spaces are wide with plenty of room to pull through. I'd recommend this place for 1 night stays, long term and anything in between. If I'm back in the area I will definitely be staying here again!
