We have been camping at this RV park for the past 10 years. The first 5 were in a motorhome weekend camping. For the past 5 years, we have been seasonal camping in a 5th wheel. There is a new owner this past year and they have been making wonderful improvements. Nice furniture at the pool, pavilion for weekend entertainers, fun activities for kids and adults.

If you like the sound of trains 24/7 youll love this place. Our site wasn't too shady. Other than the trains, this campground was fairly quiet. Lot of golf carts running around.

My husband and I just spent a very relaxing month at Waterside Campground. From the moment at check in, helpful staff, smiling welcome, we knew we had chosen a special campground. Very quiet during the week, lots of campers coming for the weekend. Not noisy, lots of family centered activities, big pool, music and food trucks too. The grounds are very well kept and clean. Situated on the Juniata River on one side and Juniata Canal on the other, many families brought Kayaks for the river. Sites are wide, tree shade covered and plenty big. We camped in a 43 Foot Class A! Close to Amish country with farmers markets, close to Penn State, train museums, great town of Lewistown, there was plenty to do within an hours drive. Thank you , we will be back!

Waterside is a wonderful place to visit. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Pool was warm and furniture around the pool was comfortable and new. The river was beautiful. So relaxing! We definitely will be coming back!

I love this campground! We stayed in the cabin by the pool and it was clean, spacious and beautiful. We went on a pontoon boat ride and they had a wagon ride at night. There was activities planned the kids. Everyone was so friendly! I would definitely recommend this special place to anyone!

Visited after Labor Day. Pool was closed. Not much to do. Friendly staff. Nice views of the Juniata River and canal.

It is a nice park, but not sure if it is worth its high rating at the time of this review. The sites are back-in. Our site F was not level, requiring blocks under our rear tires. It rained while we were there and the site was very muddy. They did spread some straw out, but it only helped very little. Bathrooms were clean, but what I would call rustic. I would probability stay there again but ask for a site by the river or sites I,J or K. We camped at Waterside Campground in a Motor home.
