I've been to this campground 3 times before. 2 years in a row we went here for the Dog bowl in Frankenmuth. So, memorial day weekend, and it was great. Lots of nice people, fun things to do and isn't far from main street of Frankemuth. Everything is pretty clean. They have 1 dump station, public bathrooms and showers, a small church, full hook ups or rustic, and tent campsites. They have fire pits and wood to buy. Swimming area, fishing area, and canoeing area. The trails for ATVs to go down are fun too. Playground for kids and a a little store. I just went again for the car show in Frankenmuth. Some things are a bit run down but not too bad. I just love having a safe space for me to sleep and my kid to play, and that's what this place has.

We had a fantastic weekend at Wesleyan Woods! We love this campground and this past weekend it was packed yet so quite still. It was so good to see kids at the playground, and in the water (brave souls that they were!). A baptism at the beach as a reminder that God is at work. ❤️ And ice cream…the biggest servings you’ve ever seen! Can’t wait to be back there again!

Pretty cool place but there's problems. Mosquito outbreak and playground structures look old and worn out and look like there about to break, not very good camping spots for certain RV's

Camping spots are average for this type of campground. Firewood was good price delivered right to the site. Plenty of grassy open areas to do your own thing (kites, kickball, football, frisbee, whatever). Decent playground. East shower room is pretty poor but others have said the west ones were nice. Went there mainly for the activities. During check in we tried to sign up for the rock wall and ropes course but they said we better go look at it first to make sure our pre-teen boys could do it. We did so right away and then came back to sign up. “Sorry - We just filled up for the weekend.” If I knew that was a possibility we would have just paid at check-in like I wanted. The worker should have let us know as the kids were really bummed. Strike 1. Waited for a hay ride. 1st in line and waited close to an hour because they were having trouble. That was fine but they pulled up to the back of the line and filled the wagon - no ride for us. It was just a hay ride but still a let down. Strike 2. Waited over an hour for the zip line over the pond. The worker on the pontoon that unhooks you at the bottom was on his phone. Wasn’t paying attention and pulled it right into the zip path. My son wacked the edge of the pontoon hard. It left him cut and bruised. Strike 3. Do I recommend this place? I Wesleyan Wouldn’t.

Family camp 2023 with my first experience at Wesleyan Woods, and it was an absolute blessing! My family has been visiting this campground for generations, and have wonderful treasures and memories. I felt as if I had been missing out because this was my first experience, I was only visiting for the evening sermons, and was regretting that I didn’t take the week o off work to be there the entire time. The land is absolutely beautiful. Everyone there was majorly pleasant. The energy in the Holy Spirit is profound. The speakers were absolutely wonderful. My husband and I joined for the euchre tournament fundraiser was an absolute blast and we can’t wait to attend next year. We already have time off for work and are ready to attend family camp 2024. We also plan to have more weekend visits to be able to share this wonderful place with our friends and family.

Update.... Customer service is lacking. I sent an email asking about my reservation 8 days before my stay and never recieved a reply. Two days before my stay I sent a question to a different email about an itinerary and was told that I can't get one until I get there. They could not even tell me what day or time the trick-or-treating would be. I am sure this is not a case of the camp not being organized, but a case of someone being rude. This is a really nice campground to take your family to. It is well maintained and there are many activities, such as a zip line, swimming, kayaking and trail riding. They also have a shooting range and archery. We stayed for a Halloween weekend so most of this was closed but they had trick or treating and a campsite decoration contest. We will definitely be back.

Clean large site's, right on the river but they also have a small lake with a zip line and water slide. They also have clean bathrooms and large showers. My only problem was that some of the sites were water logged and the yellow jackets were everywhere during my week stay. I would still recommend a stay if you like relaxing campgrounds with lots to do.

Great camp ground with a good Christian experience. The grandkids love swimming there.

Great campsite, it's got everything you need. Good service, good places to explore, and even a forest for you to travel through at night if you're in the mood for a good scare.
