made a reservation in dec 2025 for site 71 with my brother in the site next to us. when we arrived in jan i was in site 9 and he was in 12. told the rv in site 71 had a mechanical breakdown. after parking and setting up i drove back to site 71 it was empty. the guy in site 70 was setting up. he stated he was supposed to be in site 51 but it was to small. they moved him to 70. this rv park is next to a truck stop at the i75 and florida turnpike split. we are in the noisiest part of the park which when i made my reservation in dec i told the lady on the phone i wanted to be behind the office as for from the truck stop as i could get. When we told the office receptionist there was no one in spot 71 the response from the lady in the office was "I just work here". wont see me at this rv park again.

With the ability to work remotely, my wife and I decided to escape the Michigan winter. In our search we found Wildwood had an attractive winter rate and is centrally located. Due to concerns over the adjoining property being a truck stop with I75 next to it, and some negative reviews, we decided to book a few weeks to check things out before making the commitment. The office staff were helpful and pleasant, it was easy to make reservations, the dogs enjoyed the large dog park and there is a nice community campfire area. Our site was towards the middle of the park with a bath house 4-5 sites over blocking the truck stop and I75, this helped diffuse the noise to white noise (unfortunately the campers across the street didn’t have the same effect on the lot behind them) and most of the guests were great. The issue was noise generated within the park. With loud vehicles roaming around the park and/or idling for long periods of time, including during park quiet times in the mornings and motorcycles that apparently require starting and repeated revving multiple times per day, it was difficult to get a good nights rest or conduct phone/video meetings with high value clients (Starlink service was good). The long term sites were nice, and we didn't mind the few that looked like something out of Dixie’s trailer park, with yards full of cars, critters and crap (DMX’s “where the hood at” is stuck in my head thinking about it) a handful of unsupervised juveniles frequently roam the park that I suspect come from those same sites. We were able to find another park nearby, and after clearing the background check, we made the move a couple days ago (what a difference!). It’s a little more money but smaller, management and staff live on site keeping peace and quiet, they really seem to care and everyone seems to respect their neighbors. If you are traveling and need a place for a couple of days or in a pinch, Wildwood will work, it’s not a horrible place and could go from ok to decent if management and staff regularly spent time out in the park, setting expectations, ensuring campground etiquette/rules are being followed helping to deliver a positive guest experience. Having some staff/management live on-site would be great to monitor park activity after business hours. I doubt Lisa Beedon will be stopping by anytime soon but with Mr Wood living 20 minutes to the West, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the park on an episode of Under Cover Boss. On a side note, some mornings while walking the dogs we observed trucks and work trailers that were parked in the back area behind the office, exiting between the fence and tree/brush line away from the park. Parking loud vehicles in that area with them entering and exiting along that path would inconvenience the fewest number of guests until their owners could be moved near the road and exit or until they can make repairs. Near the road and exit would also be a great location for guest that frequently have outside guests. Happy camping

We started staying here in July of this year cuz it was convenient for (Dr's. Etc.) us Was not real happy about the conditions of the campground. Lots of the spots looked like homeless encampments, junk everywhere , the pool was nasty...was told people bathed in it , gross, but we decided to come back anyway, again, the cost and convenience. What a surprise!! New management has done a lot. The grounds have been cleaned up, the pool redone and maintained, and improvements are being done. There is now also, a community firepit that is really nice and a food truck on sight. A new entertainment director has been hired and I see fun things coming! We will continue to stay here now in the future. We have made great friends 🧡.

I absolutely am disgusted by how my family was treated during checking in. Jeffery who works in the fronr office harassed my family and was horribly aggressive towards us. I was told to tell upper management and was said by Peter "he gets like that sometimes" I didn't even move forward with staying here because of how nasty Jeffery treated us. Rushed us with filling paper out and more. There is a huge issue with management to allow someone that miserable to have any interactions with guests. I highly don't recommend staying here especially if you have kids. Major disappointment.

Surprisingly quiet for as close to I75 and a larger truck stop it is. Folks up front are friendly and the restrooms were always clean when we used them. Curbside yeah pickup is a very convenient perk. Will definitely look here first when we're back in the area.

The place feels and looks good but the staff is hardly friendly. One of the bathrooms is too hot and in the summer it feels horrible to go there. The place has potential, there are just small things to improve.

We stayed for a couple days with our Class C RV. The pool, laundry facilities, restrooms were great! It's close right of 75 so easy to get to. Also has a few food options within walking distance. The one complaint is when I tried to use their showers I could not get hot water in any of the showers. But it was hot anyway so it felt good! Sites were a bit small but not bad if you don't send a lot of time outside your RV. They had an awesome Dog park but the grass was long in it. But I would 100% stay here again when in the area!

Overnight pull through site completely not leveled (12" front to back). Sites are pure sand. Unable to use levelers. Sewer connection towards the front of the site. Wifi connection almost non-existent. Not worth the $70. I'll be back when they improve service.
