We stayed in one of the cabins above the lake for 2 nights. It has a beautiful view, quiet surroundings and friendly staff. We will definitely be back!

About 10 of us women get together every year and thos was our first year at Willow Lake and it was fantastic! We had the Scotch Pine Cabin and absolutely loved it! Spacious and beautiful right by the lake. We will definitely be back next year!

There is these little black beetles bugs all over the place. I think they're called pirate bugs. They kept biting me and I literally stayed in the camper most of the time. I was there, other than that, though it was a very beautiful campground, no cell phone reception, though,so if you're ready to camp away from society and maybe get eaten alive a little bit at that is your place to go.

It was 101° out the weekend we went. If you pick the right spot, it won't matter. This place is fantastic. The beach is clean, the DNR is constantly making sure the rules are being followed, and the residents were all quiet and respectful. Fantastic weekend. Bathrooms and showers were super clean as well!

Willow lake is so beautiful! We stayed in a cabin and the sunrise over the lake with geese dropping out of the sky was so amazing!

Third time was a charm. Stayed twice earlier this year and chased off by tornados. We spent our anniversary here and enjoyed some good fishing, gorgeous sunsets, a nice fire at night, and great hikes. Anyone that feels that Iowa is a flyover state needs to visit our parks.

Lovely grass trails around a small lake. Beautiful hills in the background. Took a little under an hour but didn't veer off the path. There's a little beach! 🏖

Very relaxing campground, the free beach is fun too. Bring your kayak, fishing gear, and dogs for fun getaway. The park is maintained well, with playgrounds and clean bathrooms.
