Beautiful place to see mother nature! The deer are so close and they have a clean environment. People are absolutely friendly and very helpful. I can't wait to get my camper and head back!

This place is absolutely amazing. The deer are everywhere and love to be feed. Catfishing was great. Was able to use both 50 and 30 outlets together with no problems. Swimming areas were great built sandcastles on beach area too. We just loved it will be a yearly tradition now for use.

This place is absolutely magical. This was our first, but definitely not our last, to visit. The park is immaculate. The cabins spacious and well-equipped. There were deer EVERYWHERE and you could buy bags of corn to feed them. Other than feeding they left you alone. The check in and out process was easy. Th staff super friendly. The swimming area was super clean with a sandy beach. The views of the lake are spectacular. We usually travel to Oklahoma to vacation, but not anymore. This will be our new place. Thank you WPP for an amazing weekend and we look foward to seeing you all again.

This used to be my favorite park. Great location. Beautiful facilities that are always clean. They used to have the best, friendliest staff. Now this park is way too expensive. The staff is not friendly. As much as they charge, the playground is awful. There’s no shade. The equipment is all metal. The swimming area is not little kid friendly as you can’t wade in and there’s no shallow water.

We live about 30 minutes away from the park and have been checking out parts of the lake since we moved out here. This is definitely our favorite spot on the lake. We didn’t camp here, only had a day pass and we were just there exploring. The cabins and “shelters” look pretty nice and we’re definitely interested in spending the weekend soon. And yes, there are deer everywhere! They are accustom to humans being around and at the guest center at the front of the park they sell deer corn. I am posting this review on 6\8\25 and the bucks are all in velvet. We were able to feed the deer from our hand. Wild deer ate from our palm. That is an experience I will never forget! I would not suggest trying this during rutting season though (October to December). The public swimming area looks very inviting too. Better than the beach at the park on the south side of the lake. The lady’s at the check in were very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Amazing place to be with the family, my kids and I had a great time. Clean place with amazing camping, shelter sites. You won’t be bored because there is plenty of things you can do. We are coming back for my birthday. I just fell in love with this place. The only things you need is food, water to drink, basic cleaning supplies only if you are staying in shelter. Also great customer service, they have a store in there that you can buy things you need for camping.

Beautiful, just don’t expect to sleep if you have rude campers nearby. My youngest children had never been camping before, so we chose this place in the hopes it would give them a good experience. The deer and the natural beauty are as wonderful as advertised. But the organization of the tent camping area is not great; tent sites are not marked, and there is no clear limit on tent capacity. A large group set up right next to us and deployed 7 tents in a relatively small area. The main reason we chose this campground (quiet time starting at 10 p.m.) was also woefully disappointing. There were two large groups, one of which was the one right next to us, who were extremely loud until well after 1 a.m. The other group even had a microphone and speaker system. Park staff were nowhere to be found. The noise started up again around 7 a.m. and so annoyed nearby campers that one elderly gentlemen emerged to make a loud “SHHHHH!” in their general direction. A somewhat sleepless night marred what might have been a lovely experience, so I doubt we’ll be back. There’s a lot of promise to be realized here if staff were more dedicated to ensuring an enjoyable experience for ALL campers.

I love this place. There are many deer and they come up pretty close to you. Some of the shelters have their own fishing peirs. I just find the place very relaxing. They have a gated entrance and after 10pm it's quite time. No admittance after 10pm. This is our second year in coming here. My 2 sisters and I are going to made this our yearly get away.

Nice park. They are making a lot of improvements. Nice new concrete pads. The lots are small and a little close together. Host are nice and helpful. This is our second stay and we will definitely be back.
