We love this campground. We go for the Halloween Weekends and love all the children's activities, the deco and community. We can't wait to come back!

We arrived late, and after hours arrival was basically a grassy spot to park. No picnic table. We did have access to restrooms and showers. They were not very clean. I would not stay here again, especially if I could not arrive before check in closed. Paid way too much for what we got.

STAY AWAY, unless you want your items stolen and the campground take no responsibility for it! God forbid you ask a question in their Facebook page about your stolen items and the campground block you too (guilty much?) We were seasonals for over 20+ years, and good riddance. Place has completely fallen apart and should be ashamed of themselves. Money hungry at the least. Wouldn’t step foot there ever again.

The only thing to really do around Wolfs Den campgroundis to visit Gillette Castle. The Campground itself was OK. They have a nice pool. It’s the usual lot of seasonal campers that tend to neglect their sites. It makes it look trashy. plenty of much better Campground to go to.

The gentleman in the office was not friendly and seemed inconvenienced by checking us in… he was in a conversation with a seasonal guest about everyday chatter. I think he should have checked new arrivals in and then carried on with the conversation, instead of having us standing there listening for 10 minutes. The campground was nice, pool was great and overall a nice experience.

I can’t wait to be there for the season! I have been camping there since I was a little girl and now I’ll finally will have a place of my own there as an adult. I am so excited!!

Overall a fine, but average experience. Park was clean and the site was fine though a bit tight and sloped....but it was acceptable. Internet was not working, but things happen. What I did not like was that despite the place being not busy at all (midweek) we were still charged an early arrival fee (we were about 2 hours before check in). It is the owner's right to charge the fee, but it just seems like a money grab with our site clearly had nobody on it for days and there was no need to do a expedited cleaning or anything like that. It just felt like being hit for 20 bucks for not hitting traffic and showing up early. The other fee was the "guest" fee simply for having someone drop by the campsite and hang out for literally an hour. This seems unnecessary.....our son's grandfather who lives in the area just wanted to stop in and say hello and was informed that he would need to pay 10 dollars just to drive down through a mainly empty campground to sit with us for 45 minutes. They even charge a deposit for borrowing a basketball. Bottom line is it all just seemed like to much! I do understand the need for rules, regulations and procedures. And we just stayed for a night so it really didn't matter. But I would not stay again. It just seemed like a weirdly militaristic vibe that is contradictory to a relaxing good time. Just not for us.

This campsite was a lovely family friendly campsite. There was live music and a pool and the best part was that by 10:00 all the noise was over. However I have to knock off a couple stars because my site wasn't very level I had to really adjust everything to try to make sure I could sleep but it was okay in the end. It seemed that a lot of the other sites were very level. I enjoyed the proximity to Mystic and was able to visit there. There was a gentleman who worked at the deaths that helped me get the cable set up I haven't had a campground with cable in a long time it was very good.

We had nice corner spot. Pretty quite. Near the bathrooms. The showers were out of order. Only usable one was the handicap one. Bathrooms could have used a good cleaning. While walking our dog she was attacked by another dog. It was very traumatic for all of us. The owner of the other dog had them on a retractable leash. Which are not allowed according to your rules. We will not be back. I feel like we should have been compensated at least a night. I would also like to add that the whole campground could use a good mowing and week whacking.

The location is fine close to highway and the camping is good but definitely not coming back. You can find much better camping for the same price with better amenities. The water in the pool was green, they said that’s because the walls but it’s not the water was really bad. The sites some of then is fine but mostly is completely wet, i almost get stuck my truck, have to use 4x4 to get out. I meet some people thats is season there and they love the place. At all the camping is not bad for the price but they need some better maintenance to improve better sites.
