This was a beautiful RV park location, friendly management team, very helpful, great at helping to guide you in parking your RV. The grounds are very well maintained, beautiful river on the property. Nice amenities, restrooms and laundry rooms very clean. We stayed there in our RV, water pressure was very good which is sometimes hard to find, WiFi was good (Sky-link), place to build a fire by each area and picnic table. Did not have a dog park area but plenty of areas to walk your dogs. Overall very nice place.

Our first time to Lake City and Woodlake Rv park. We stayed in a cabin and it was clean and full of everything we needed. The campers we met were all so friendly and nice. One of their employees , Gordon, was the best and very accommodating! We visited with the owners and they were a big help in giving us recommendations on where to explore. The river running right in front of the cabin was breath taking. This Texas traveler would like to go back for sure!

Tent camper here. The hosts are nice, showers clean, and location is great. The tent campsite is subpar. Expect be crowded right next to the other tent spot and surrounded by RVs and cabins. It's not a private spot. You'd do better scooting up to a cheaper, more private, and scenic spot up Lake San Cristobal. The review by "12 Bravo" regarding their camping experience before mine seems misleading IMO. The hosts are not great communicators either. I emailed them before leaving Fort Collins stating that I would be arriving after 9:00pm (note: they don't specify an arrival window, I did this as a courtesy). Then, while en route, I get a call at 7:00pm asking where I was. I told them I was over an hour out and they sounded quite annoyed but were "willing" to wait for me. Maybe you should state an official arrival policy and/or check your email if this is important to you? Once we arrived, they were quite nice. They just need to communicate better beforehand and align expectations. Personally, I wouldn't come back. But if you're looking for a clean campground with supplies, showers, and community during your trip, you may enjoy this spot.

This park is right on the river, 2.9 miles out of Lake City, CO. It is so beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely be back.

Great people. We came in early and they were very nice to work with and super hospitable. The river ran right next to our camp. Great spot!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Great location, beautiful views, clean showers, and a very friendly environment. We will definitely plan our future trips through Lake City and stay at Woodlake RV park.

Beautiful spot about 5 minutes outside of Lake City. We stayed in the river watch cabin. Very clean, quaint, full electricity and showers, TV, sleeps 10. Amazing view of the river. Stayed here for the weekend to hike Wetterhorn and we will definitely be back.

We love to visit Woodlake Park every summer! It is tucked away from the town which makes it so quite and peaceful. It has plenty of room in between campers to make it feel more private. The river runs through the camp and it is beautiful! Sometimes you may even see a deer walking through! The bathrooms are always clean and smell good. They have ice on site which makes it super convenient for your cooler and you don't have to drive into town. You can't ride any UTV from the park to town but their are plenty of spots you can unload at if you wanted to go ride trails. The park host treat you like family and always available to help. During the week, they have potluck night and a wenny roast and they are so FUN! So many campers come out and great to mingle with. Thank you John, Cathy, Sheri, Jerry, Rusty for always providing us a great time and being so helpful.

Woodlake is our favorite campground of any we've ever stayed at. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The laundry room is one of the cleanest we've ever used. The sites are level. There's a potluck on Wednesday evenings, and a wienie roast on Saturdays. Many of the people stay here year after year, so it's easy to get to know people and make new friends. The view can't be beat and it's easy access to Lake San Cristobal and downtown Lake City. Also, it is common for deer and elk to find their way into the RV park. We go back every chance we get.

Great campground with super hosts. I stayed in a ‘riverside cabin’ and it was amazing. I expected little, but the cabin was, true to description, right on the babbling riverside where I could see trout in the eddies. Firewood was easy to get, so sitting out by the fire pit listening to the river was serene. Inside the cabin had an electric heater and more than enough plugs to charge all devices. No linens provided, but putting my sleeping bag on a real mattress was heaven-sent. Nice central bathroom and easy access ice and water. Thanks Woodlake!!
