This is one of those parks where you stop to rest. Just off i65 and just far enough off to muffle traffic noises, it's a great place to rest with no hassle. Level sites, full hookups, easy in and out. Plus there's a Loves truck stop at the same exit for a quick fill up before getting back on the road. Make/confirm reservations on your phone Easy. We spent 2 nights in a motorhome.

Super convenient stop over on the way to Florida! Love the contactless check in. We pulled up, stayed, and left. The bathrooms are really clean and the campground itself was quiet. It annoys me how many times you hear “I could hear the highway traffic”. Well, duh. You’re right next to the highway. Leave your RV fan on overnight and you can’t hear a thing. We would definitely use this again!

We love staying here. Great stop over on our way to Florida. The check in process is all on your phone. Couldn't be easier. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. Our fur babies loved the walk around the lake. Location is prime. Literally right off the Interstate and across from a gas station (that has separate diesel pumps) and a Shoneys for breakfast.

Convenient location right off the highway. You drive through a trailer dealership to reach the campground, which is unique but easy to navigate. There’s a decent-sized stocked lake for catch-and-release fishing with a dock, and several bench swings positioned around the water — though many are in need of repair. One in particular looked unsafe to sit on, as the boards were rotting and some were missing altogether. While walking around the lake, I noticed several campsites being used to store trailers from the dealership, which took away from the campground feel. The fenced-in playground is a nice touch and could be a great feature for families, but unfortunately, it’s also in disrepair. A handle meant to provide stability while climbing the rock wall was barely attached — thankfully, my son caught himself before falling. The plastic playground equipment also started coming apart as soon as he tried to play on it, so I had to ask him to stay off completely. There is a large laundry area inside their building along with showers and restrooms. We only stayed for one night while passing through and didn’t use these amenities, but based on the other disrepair around the grounds, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were also in poor condition. Honestly, it seems like this campground is slowly dying, with only long-term stays keeping it going. It has potential, but safety and maintenance issues really need to be addressed before I could recommend it.

So happy to have found them and will use them in our regular trips on I-65. Easy to make reservations - we called in since it was our first time and the attendant was pleasant and efficient. Never knew it could be so easy to check in/check out. Very nice and clean laundry/showers/restrooms. Big rig friendly.

Good for a stopover for the night. The park seems run down with a lot of old permanent campers.

Great spot for one night stop while traveling, big rig friendly with pull through sites.

We were looking for a safe, clean place to stay for a night. This campground is convenient to the interstate. We had a nice, relatively level site with grass and a tree. There are showers and laundry, catch and release pond, small playground and small dog area. There seem to be a lot of long term people, but it was clean, quiet, and we felt safe. There is a little traffic noise from the interstate, but it didn't bother us. We stayed on Sunday, so we never saw any employees.

Yellowhammer RV park is located conveniently off the interstate. Their service was great! We had to make changes due to storms and they were accommodating. RV sites are nice, we had a pull thru site. Would definitely stay again.
