Stayed here in our camper van just for an overnight (end of September). Staff was so sweet and helpful. Tent site with electric had beautiful grass to pull into. Site had a charcoal grill, picnic table and firepit. There appeared to be a good number of seasonal campers there, but I didn't feel it was trashy. Bathroom/Showers were nice and clean - hot with great water pressure. We felt safe and it was in a good location off thr highway. They had wifi issues when we were there and even though they tried to remedy it, it didn't work. I was able to use my hotspot and since it was only one night, it wasn't a big deal. Campground was quiet and the camp store was super cute - loved it! We will come back if we are traveling through again.

Site 25. Odd placement of camp side table you have to share with site next to you if you select water and electric only sites. FHU have there own. Site 25 is Starlink friendly. North faces near the rear with no obstructions. Laundry and restrooms are very clean. Pool was closed already Last week of Sept. Nice pet areas and nature trail to river. We stayed one night on our way to Yellowstone.

This place is totally amazing, the people in the office were very friendly. We got to meet Brit the owner who stopped by and introduced him and his son, we actually met him at our granddaughters and husbands wedding. This is a top of the line campground, it is clean, friendly and down to home place. Thank you so much for accommodating us. Mike and Jean McGee from Ocean View, Delaware.

Great facility. We had a 32foot class C with a tow vehicle. So about 45-50 feet. Lot was very long. Fit perfectly. 50 or 30 Amp. Fool hook up service. I wanted to stay here longer but they were booked. Don’t wait until last minute to make your reservation. Facilities (bathrooms, swimming pool etc) are great. Front desk staff was also very helpful. We had a request, Angela was very helpful. Thank you!!!

Brit, the owner is great. Can't stress that enough. We were on our maiden voyage in our brand new camper. Newbies who had never camped in a RV before. As we were leaving and had stopped to dump our tanks. Brit came up chatting and gave us a tutorial. He took time from his day to show us both. The proper way to dump our tanks staying clean and getting them as clean as possible. Everyone there was happy friendly helpful and polite. The campground was clean. Just as the bathrooms, showers, sites & pool areas. It's located directly along the Yellow river. Has a laundromat. Dog play areas. Kids playground. Food truck comes by in the afternoon. They have a souvenir shop. A great place to stay.

We stayed in our large RV here with our dog. The road leading to the campground was a little narrow for our motorhome and car trailer but my partner handled it fine. Yellowstone River Campground accommodated our request for a spot on the edge of their field to exercise our dog who is touchy about being near other dogs and people. The campground was very quiet in spite of how booked up they were. The field was large and far enough away from their offical dog park. Tons of dog poop in it though - change your shoes before you get back into your camper. The campsite worked well enough for our one night stay.

We thought it was an answered prayer as it was the fourth campground we checked out on our way from Montana to SC. We found this one around 1:30 am and it looked clean and well kept. We drove around to find a site as close to the bathrooms as possible since my husband typically has to go during the night. We found one and went back to the office and dropped off our $40 cash. Get back to our site to finally set up and get some sleep when my husband comes right back from the bathroom and said nope, bathrooms are closed for the winter. You would think maybe a sign at the office BEFORE you pay your money would be a considerate choice as well as good customer service but that appears to be too much work. We had to drive into town to find a gas station just so we could go to the bathroom. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else but here. Total ripoff.

Really liked this place, was here for the winter. Cold but great view of the cliffs. Also, there is a trail that leads back to the Yellowstone River. Great price concedering electric is included (for monthly). Close to highway, but far enough, you don't hear it. Close to downtown if you like to bike.

‼️SHOULD BE CHANGED TO 55+ ONLY RETIREMENT COMMUNITY, NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY ONE BIT‼️ If I could give 0 stars I would! We had lived here from mid February to the end of October. And have paid them damn near $10k since living there. You wouldn’t even tell that they make that much off anyone because they don’t invest back into the park one bit… Owner is very rude and plays favorites when it comes to rules. Picks and chooses what she wants to enforce and makes up rules along the way… ‼️IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY WITH CHILDREN DO NOT EVEN COME HERE‼️ owner loves to make up rules when it comes to children or family gathering. We did a gathering for Easter, told us we couldn’t do an Easter egg hunt… then woke up a few days later to a note on our doors about “you can not BBQ outside of your own lot” (so pretty much saying we can’t use the amenities that we pay monthly for) Ive had to call office due to homeless camping out behind our camper and showering in water spickets (he was there for a few days so they don’t even check if you have even paid for a spot, but yet wants us to pay over $1k/m) Dirty pool and hot tub during the summer, shitty playground (that they could invest more into from the money they suck from you) During the winter you are only allowed to skirt and if you even attempt to put a heater they will just rip that shit from under your camper without a warning, when this is Montana and the high gets to -20°, then your stuff freezes. You’re also SOL when your stuff freezes because they shut down bathrooms and laundry during the winter (so no bathrooms when your stuff freezes from not having a heater under your camper) Gross, smelly, small, and sorry excuse for dog parks… All around just a bad place to go! Do not give them your money. Do not go here unless you are 55+ retirement community… if you want an owner that plays favorites go for it. If you want your pipes to freeze and bust in winter, by all means stay here, if you want to throw money away then I say do it!

We booked our site at this RV park during a busy weekend (first weekend of Sturgis) and the staff were very nice during both the reservation and check-in process. Price was very affordable and location was decent - easy to find, good access to and from the freeway and downtown. We were in what appeared to be an older site (based on the electrical box appearance). The park is very well maintained and bathrooms are very clean. The office/general store is nice, clean, and well stocked. They also have a food truck that comes in during evening hours (we actually missed it as we didn't realize they leave at 8PM). Our site was a bit odd though as it was set up so that our neighbor (if we had one - which, fortunately we did not) would have had our entry/exit door facing their entry/exit door (which would be great for two families camping, but can be a little weird for strangers). The site was nice and level though, only complaint was that the site did not have a sewer connection and using the dump station can be a little tricky as it is on a blind corner and gets busy during exit time. We would stay here again, but at a different site.
