We thought this campground was fabulous. We stayed for four nights in early October. Weather was definitely turning cold but we lucked out with brilliant sunny days. Barely anyone else in the campground and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. We were in Site 113 which was fabulous - full hookups - good space between our site and the next door neighbors and had a great aspect looking out towards the lake and into the forest. The campground is full of beautiful tall pines trees, and yes! That means you need to be able to steer your enormous RV around them! Lol the other reviews for this campground 🥴. But seriously yes there are obstacles here and you will need to know how to level your RV as well as drive it properly. Easy stroll across the road to enjoy the lake and the walking paths. Definitely would come back here again.

I’ve camped here a few times during the winter, and it’s always been an amazing experience. One time, I got stuck in the snow, but the staff was incredibly helpful, getting me out and even clearing the pathway for me. The only downside was that snow had fallen from the trees and damaged the skylight, but honestly, there’s not much that can be done about that. Just something to be aware of.

I camped there early April, just before the season began, and I was lucky enough to capture perfect weather and a quiet campground. The staff was amazing and helpful. My first visit to Lake Tahoe, and I’m so glad I chose this campground! It’s just a short walk across the street to the main beach — super convenient, yet tucked away under towering trees for peace and quiet. The sunset views over the lake from the campground were absolutely stunning. A serene and perfect spot!

My husband and I stayed here for a week in May, just before the season started. It took us about an hour to get checked in and to our site. The park wasn't fully staffed yet, so we had to check in at the resort across the street and then when we got to our site, someone was already there, so we had to be moved. Also, there was never anyone in the office at the campground. The bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily and the maintenance staff is attentive. Most of the washer and dryers work, but keep in mind that they don't have timers. And be aware that the roads in the campground are narrow. Lake Tahoe across the street is beautiful and we enjoyed the hiking trails. The further from the lodge you go on the beach, the less crowded it is. We also saw a bear our first day here! This area is beautiful and we would come back during the season next time.

Great location on Lake Tahoe. RV sites are close together but nice and shady in a grove of ponderosa pines. There's no town nearby so bring what you need. Highlight is the mountain climb behind the park. Small demerit for having no way to get 16 quarters for the laundry room. The shop across the road is cashless.

Nice park, sites are really tight but the amenities on the property are excellent, and the lake is a short walk away. Lots of kids, so definitely family friendly, had an errant football hit the side of my rig, no damage, but there were kids throwing it on the roadway, that's how packed the sites are. I'd come again for sure, location is superior.

When we went camping, we had a beautiful time. Water was readily available, bathrooms were pretty clean and close by, and the walk to the water front was so convenient. I like how you can walk out to he group camp areas and it's accessible. When we showed up, there was someone in our campsite but when we reached out to the staff, they just told us to use a different site so they could send someone over to the original site. Super accommodating.

We loved our stay here. The campground is beautiful, clean and peaceful and it is straight across the road from the lake. Definitely recommend.

When I called to make the reservation the lady messed the date up and I didn’t realize until I received an email wanting to review my stay. I called and was on the phone for 90 mins waiting for the rep to fix it. She said it took so long because they pulled the call to make sure it was their error and not mine. She apologized for the error and said she upgraded me to a premium site since it was their error. We pulled in around 9:30 and had a very difficult time locating our site. When we did someone was parked in it from a different camp site. The gentleman quickly moved his car and was apologetic. I reserved a pull through site. There are no pull through sites that we saw. This was definitely not a premium site! We had to back our RV in and it was a disaster. The campers are on top of each other so you have to inch your way forward and back to make it in your spot. The campground is not near water or the beach just FYI. I gave it 2 stars because it was pretty with the big tall trees . I would not stay here again.

Great location but they have got to get rid of their outside reservation company. Be prepared to have a spot you can’t get into, we watched upset people all weekend walk back and forth to change their site. When you book include total size and some. And bring you patience hat at check in, you will be behind people trying to change spots. Good luck. They really should move reservations internal to the people who understand the park.
