We went in late march 2025 to the 90's CON in Hartford, CT. didn't know CT was in winter RV season still for another week. Ace's High happened to be a year-round park so we chose to stay there. Being in winter season I was happy with the park.

We had a fantastic experience at this campground! The park was clean, well-maintained, and offered a peaceful atmosphere. We stayed on sites 47 and 48, which were perfect for camping with friends. Both sites were back-in, pond-front, and featured fully paved pads, complete with a picnic table and fire ring. The sewer hookup was located at the rear of the pad, so we needed two hose lengths for both water and sewer connections—something to keep in mind when packing. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. During our stay, they hosted a cornhole tournament and other fun activities that added to the community vibe. The heated saltwater pool was a highlight—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The campground’s location is ideal, with most attractions about 20 minutes away, making it a convenient base for nearby adventures.

What a wonderful camp ground ! The owner and staff couldn’t be nicer. Everything was kept so neat and clean, including bathrooms and grounds; beautiful gardens, a large pond/ lake. We were able to fish and release, kayak, canoe and paddle boat. There was a short hiking path surrounding the pond. The salt water pool was great and very refreshing. While we were there we had a karaoke night and ice cream sundae Sunday😊 They are in the process of adding exercise and gym equipment. If anyone is interested in visiting New England or camping in Connecticut this is a perfect place. It’s close to beaches and other attractions . They also have cabins available. We will definitely be coming back . Very quiet and relaxing ! Oh and they are open all year round ! Thank you Aces for a wonderful time 😊👍🏻 see you next year if not sooner!

Easy to get to with no major hazards between the highways and campground, driving a 40’ class A with a vehicle in tow. Only complaint was it was a bit pricey, but it may because it was the week before 4th of July. & they charge a $10 cash deposit for the gate card, which is fine but the office opens at 9 so plan accordingly the night before leaving unlike me 😉 Lots of mature trees and plenty of roomy sites. Didn’t have a need to use the bath house but stuck my head in and it looked clean. Grounds, ponds, pool, dog runs, pickle ball court all in great shape. Water pressure was a bit low and the WiFi kept crashing trying out on the computer but TV was buffering enough that I’d want an issue.

Pros Well kept grounds. Very clean. Ownership and staff for all friendly and helpful. Campsites are very spacious and not on top of each other like most places. Very quiet and serene. The duct visiting the campsite was a nice touch to the weekend. Cons although they advertised cable it didn't work at all. As a result everybody was on the Wi-Fi which crippled it and didn't work most of the time. Not a lot for kids to do there. It's like camping in a big parking lot. Not a whole lot of trees or wilderness. If you're looking for a very quiet weekend this is the place! If you need to keep your kids occupied stay away from this place. I've been to a whole lot of different campgrounds over the years. I'll give this one four stars out of five overall it was a good experience. But please if you advertise something provide it!
