We went in late march 2025 to the 90's CON in Hartford, CT. didn't know CT was in winter RV season still for another week. Ace's High happened to be a year-round park so we chose to stay there. Being in winter season I was happy with the park.

We had a fantastic experience at this campground! The park was clean, well-maintained, and offered a peaceful atmosphere. We stayed on sites 47 and 48, which were perfect for camping with friends. Both sites were back-in, pond-front, and featured fully paved pads, complete with a picnic table and fire ring. The sewer hookup was located at the rear of the pad, so we needed two hose lengths for both water and sewer connections—something to keep in mind when packing. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. During our stay, they hosted a cornhole tournament and other fun activities that added to the community vibe. The heated saltwater pool was a highlight—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The campground’s location is ideal, with most attractions about 20 minutes away, making it a convenient base for nearby adventures.

What a wonderful camp ground ! The owner and staff couldn’t be nicer. Everything was kept so neat and clean, including bathrooms and grounds; beautiful gardens, a large pond/ lake. We were able to fish and release, kayak, canoe and paddle boat. There was a short hiking path surrounding the pond. The salt water pool was great and very refreshing. While we were there we had a karaoke night and ice cream sundae Sunday😊 They are in the process of adding exercise and gym equipment. If anyone is interested in visiting New England or camping in Connecticut this is a perfect place. It’s close to beaches and other attractions . They also have cabins available. We will definitely be coming back . Very quiet and relaxing ! Oh and they are open all year round ! Thank you Aces for a wonderful time 😊👍🏻 see you next year if not sooner!

Easy to get to with no major hazards between the highways and campground, driving a 40’ class A with a vehicle in tow. Only complaint was it was a bit pricey, but it may because it was the week before 4th of July. & they charge a $10 cash deposit for the gate card, which is fine but the office opens at 9 so plan accordingly the night before leaving unlike me 😉 Lots of mature trees and plenty of roomy sites. Didn’t have a need to use the bath house but stuck my head in and it looked clean. Grounds, ponds, pool, dog runs, pickle ball court all in great shape. Water pressure was a bit low and the WiFi kept crashing trying out on the computer but TV was buffering enough that I’d want an issue.

Pros Well kept grounds. Very clean. Ownership and staff for all friendly and helpful. Campsites are very spacious and not on top of each other like most places. Very quiet and serene. The duct visiting the campsite was a nice touch to the weekend. Cons although they advertised cable it didn't work at all. As a result everybody was on the Wi-Fi which crippled it and didn't work most of the time. Not a lot for kids to do there. It's like camping in a big parking lot. Not a whole lot of trees or wilderness. If you're looking for a very quiet weekend this is the place! If you need to keep your kids occupied stay away from this place. I've been to a whole lot of different campgrounds over the years. I'll give this one four stars out of five overall it was a good experience. But please if you advertise something provide it!

We stayed at Aces High RV Park for a long holiday weekend to visit with our daughter in Connecticut. We paid $150/night for a ‘Premium Waterfront FHU Site’ on the lake. A bit pricey, but really nice site including level concrete pad and patio, clean and well-maintained utilities, and beautiful view. THINGS I LIKED: Clean, well-maintained, and level site with concrete pad and patio (I love a clean, level concrete pad!) Utility hookups were in great condition and everything worked as it should (other parks should come and take a look at how to do this right) Beautiful pond and natural setting with lots of ducks, geese, chickens, and wild birds 20-minutes drive to Mystic and all the touristy stuff to see and do The whole park is quiet and nicely-maintained. You might say that it should be for $150 per night, but we all know that not all parks are - even at higher prices. THINGS I DIDN’T LIKE SO MUCH: This is silly, but I wanted something to improve. The store didn’t stock a selection of stickers so we weren’t able to add to our collection. By the way, doesn’t this really mean it’s a great park if that’s my only criticism? WOULD WE COME BACK? Absolutely, this is a nice place with Mystic nearby.

Very helpfull staff , except for the potholes this is very well kept place .. Every kind of store you could want is only minutes away , very convenient access to whatever you may need , I suppose you Pay for convenience one way or another and this are you Definitely pay for the convenience as it Is pricey , as it seems to sway more toward the " Luxury " side of glamping , hence the prices . But Aces High Is one of the Very few up here in this area that Does offer off season ( open all year ) kina thing . The prices Before peak season begins (April First) are generally lower than late spring early summer when Nicer lots are much Harder to find , so Booking as Early as Possible is Always recommended , some Do book even a Year in advance , just like any where else you want to go . As far as things to do , it's almost Crazy how Many attractions , places to go and things to are within a reasonable drive from here ! From Casino's , family friendly parks And water parks , museums , Mystic Harbor Is a short drive from here And They offer More than just a realy Kool aquarium , your family Could Easily spend a day or 2 Just in Mystic . Niantic does have a Ver scenic beach , but then again beaches Are scattered All along the coat all the way Up thru the New England states . A reasonable ride North up to Boston Way Can be a vacation all to itself , but even a Day trip to go to Their Aquarium IS A DAY TRIP UNTO ITSELF !! and So worth Every Penny , Especially when it comes to Lasting Unforgettable Memories!! A day trip a Lil farther North Into New Hampshire , Plenty to do up there as well , Including Awesome Beaches with Plenty of Family Friendly days Full of things to do . So Many people live their lives around New Jersey trips , or more Southern , Missing Out on Everything the Northeast has to offer , Would be a BIG , mistake !! Safe and Happy Travels all

$1700 for one month, no thanks. Plus the regulars run that place over there with a HOA like mentality that the owner entertains.

We spent a few weeks there and fell in love with the place. In 2023 we got our seasonal. The grounds are beautiful with lush flowers, ducks in the ponds and plenty of trees for shade. The owner, Daniella and her staff are amazing. They are available to you 24/7. The pool is heated. Lots of restaurants nearby and beaches a few miles away with access to ferries to Block Island and LI. We loved it so much we are coming back in 2025 for another season! Kathleen and Chris

It's a nice campground but not a lot to do for kids for the price. The playground is outdated with not many different obstacles. There was more sand than anything. The two paddle boats both took on water so we didn't use them long. The pool was nice and refreshing. The ducks and chickens were fun to watch. Everyone was very friendly. It felt more like a seasonal campground for the retired age.

We canceled our reservation 8 months prior to arrival and we’re still being charged $37.00. I understand cancellation fees but that amount is just ridiculous when you know they’ll rent the site again with no problem.

I have stayed here 3 times over the past 2 years and it hasn't gotten any better. I see all the positive reviews, but mine is not. It depends what you are looking for in a RV park. Based on the price charged I really did not expect to be parking on dirt. If you take pride in your rig, dirt sites especially when it rains are not enjoyable. The WIFI is marginal at best. Pay showers??? On a positive note the sites are spacious and the cable TV is good.

I am a local East Lyme resident and I was in need of temporary housing due to an unexpected construction issue in my home. I inquired at Aces High. Within a day, Daniela ( the owner) contacted me and offered a beautiful space for me to stay in. Her words; " We like to help local people out- it's important to us." Daniela and her staff; Maria, Kim and Frank went above and beyond to make me stay comfortable and enjoyable. They truly made me part of their family. We are so fortunate to have to have people like Daniela and her business as part of our beautiful community. I can't thank you enough.
