Just a wonderful place, close to a great town Inlet and Old Forge. Bear proof containers for food and coolers, plenty of amenities.

It's a nice campground at $20 a night. If you are wanting piece and quiet this isn't the place. Stayed 3 nights. People were very loud and obnoxious and it didn't matter what time it was. Quiet time is between 10pm and 7am but it is not enforced like they say it is. First night was ok. 2 night got woke up at 3am because someone was slamming doors. 3rd night people weren't quiet it well after midnight then got woke up at 6am by someone's dog barking for over an hour. Don't bring your dog if you can't control it as it will eventually ruin it for other people that like to bring their dogs. It was $20 for a canoe rental for 24 hours. There's a couple trails to walk. The only bathroom stalls that had a lock on the door were the ones where the showers were and one was so rusted the lock didn't work. First time going and probably the last. Will not recommend

Truly a scenic and cozy campground. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. They answered all my questions and reassured about the black bear activity and gave us tips on how to avoid an encounter. This is a very clean, friendly and not overwhelmingly big campground settled in a really beautiful and scenic area. The only downside was that there is no cellphone reception unless you drive a little closer to the town that’s nearby but that’s also just something to expect with camping. We definitely will be visiting again!

Absolutely lovedddd camping here especially tenting it out! So beautiful so quiet and serene! Will definitely do it again and will forever recommend coming here. If I had to complain about one thing was, we did not see any bears and that was sad inside the campground have absolutely no service, but that is not a bad thing at all. Very, very pleased great staff 👍🏻

I've been camping here with my family for 37 years. I grew up as a child camping in the ADK's. It is a nice large family campground. The bathrooms need updating, and many of the firepits they've upgraded are not lasting well. They are already falling apart after 5 years. The trails in the campground are terrible. They need to be made better. There are a lot of wet areas and brush. You might want to wear rain boots. The trail markers need to be more visible and consistent.

First time booking a campsite here and we are already talking about next year. I love how separate you feel from your neighbors. The sites are the perfect size. Even though we were across from the water, we were still able to see it. I definitely will plan ahead next time, so we can get a site on the water. The beach is perfect, only thing I would change is make a different place for kayaks to dock. They end up taking up the majority of the beach. The views were incredible though, the showers were warm, and the staff was welcoming.

I thought in general, the lake was great very clean. The staff there were very friendly and professional. The camp sites are are great if you were tenting however camping trailers are tight, yes there are bigger for them, I believe it should better stated in when making a reservation. First time there, planning better for our next visit.
